The Ukrainian Armed Forces' airstrike on the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) on Friday is said to have hit an oil depot in the city of Rovenki, the head of the self-proclaimed region, Leonid Pasechnik, confirmed in a Telegram post.
According to Pasechnik, a fire broke out at the scene after the attack. The strike killed one person and injured six others, the official noted.
Last month, the Ukrainian forces reportedly attacked an oil depot in the city using drones.
