The PM sector is unloved and most companies have had a crappy share price chart. Plain facts. Money chasing AI, nickel, uranium, etc etc. No money chasing PM stocks. It’s just a fact, look at the majors, the mid tiers, juniors and explorers. Most are down the last 2plus years.

Facts that without buyers bidding up shares then it doesn’t matter how good the news is, no impact. We have buyers coming in seeing value like Wyloo and Don Durret etc. seeing money to be made.

Being impatient is not Shaun’s fault. You had a chance to sell at 38pence and didn’t. Calm down. Let’s things unfold.

IMO you believe no resource update = share price low. A resource update = share price higher.

All I want is (1) is Newmont sticking around?

And (2) Feasibility study / decision to mine

I want clarity on when first revenue arrives for GGP. I want clarity on ownership of Telfer and Havieron. This is far more important than a resource update. They are mining it as indicated by the spend to date and speed to date, so no need to fret over how big it is. They already have an understanding of that. However as per Dips notes and posts, there is a reporting code to follow for official resource updates to stop fraudulent reporting.

And as being the junior partner GGP will ask Newmont if they want to peer review before any release by GGP. Perhaps both parties decide to release a resource update together as a JV rather than the junior partner doing it.

Yep another boring repetitive post saying the same old and garnering the same replies as last time you posted it.

Shaun has responded multiple times on resource updates, drilling, all sorts. As Jerry said if you plainly won’t listen then not much anyone can do for you. You moaning won’t change GGPs strategy.

We know Telfer has a restoration liability attached… but wouldn’t all of the Newcrest mines have the same?

Especially the Australian mines.

No drilling at Hav currently, just the decline plus infrastructure works.

Gold is around $3,000Aussie dollars. So imagine $3,500 or $4,000 Aussie dollars. If we can keep AISC under USD$1,000 which is $1,500Aussie dollars, we are talking profits of $2,000Aussie an ounce as "potential" over coming years. That would make our company very attractive that is for sure.

But what is a decent price for 30%? So many opinions. Most expect well above 20p per share equivalent. So well around £1bill. I just can't see that happening from Newmont. Makes sense for GGP to retain the 30% and use the cashflow as a company maker.

£1 a share is unrealistic based on 30% Havieron. That be a market cap over £5billon which is around AUD$10bill. Comparison, Northern Star market cap is AUD$12.7bill with all those working mines. Need to keep comments here realistic.

No you’re assuming Telfer / Hav is being sold. That’s not factually correct at all.

Havieron's feasibility study is delayed due to 'optimisation' studies. Time will tell if Newmont sell or not. Nothing I can do about it in any event, I am not involved.

Portfolio optimisation does not 'have to' equal selling assets. Many are 'assuming' Telfer/Hav is being sold. That is conjecture, not fact.

GGP don't need an RNS on if the merger goes through. The market will already be informed before we wake up tomorrow.

What we do know is that we have myriad of views and articles...... some suggesting Newmont will retain Telfer/Hav and others that Newmont will dispose. They are all conjecture, what will be will be. Nothing any of us control.

In my opinion, Newmont can also achieve their 'synergies saving target' without disposing of Newcrest assets. They can look to reduce duplication of costs incurred by both organisations. They can look for inefficiencies that can be made more efficient. If they can save up to half a billion per annum, then over 4 years they will save their 2 billion target.

We need to stress less and use all of the information shared here and other places to think with clear minds.

For me 6pence is a bargain. I can only see blue sky from these levels. You will have your thoughts.
