@Greg25- Are you sure you are looking at shorts for Greatland Gold rather than GGP Inc., formerly known as General Growth Properties Inc., which is based in Chicago, Illinois. Their ticker in the US = GGP

And if you google it you come to "Carlin Trend" type deposits at the "Ashburton Gold Project" - Northern Star. Where have I heard of them before - Shaun Day.

EMS - Definition

Previously called Normal Market Size (NMS), Exchange Market Size represents the number of shares market makers are compelled to trade at the price they are currently offering. In other words, this is the number of shares you can safely trade without the market maker being allowed to charge you extra by widening the spread significantly.

I note that due to the continued rise of the SP, the EMS has now dropped to 75,000.

Noting that it does not seem to be the case for all MMs yet.

Shares to Purchase during rebalance = 84 Million
Potential Front Running Shares Purchased 14-17th Dec = (8*8.9M) = 71.2 Million
Still to Purchase on 18th Dec = 13.2 Million
Major Trades on 19th (20.5 Million Purchase - 7.1 Million Sale) = 13.4 Million
Difference = 200K - Likely Rounding Issues in my Calcs.

My conclusion from this is that the shares have been fully purchased, and GDXJ will not be buying any shares on Monday.

The amount of shares purchased will depend on the share price on Friday.

They will spend exactly 0.57% of the ETF Fund Value at close of business on Friday (on the TSX), the number they get will depend upon the SP at the time.

Interesting to note that GGP updated their website 2 hours ago, highlighting the fact that Scallywag and Rudall are not part of the JV agreements.

We appear to meet all criteria with the exception of generating revenue from Gold Production.

However, the index does have the below discretionary option that would allow us to be included (exert from Page 14)

"At the discretion of the Index Administrator, companies that have not yet
commenced production are also eligible for inclusion in the index, provided they do have
tangible revenues that are related to either the mining of gold or silver ore. "

If included it would be $60 Million Plus.

Sorry should have said - rebalance 11th December. If included purchase would be 18th December.
