Ethio - what you have to remember is the price of the tests you are quoting is more to do with the logistics and the lab analysis process rather than the cost of the kit. They are high volume, low cost tests kits. It's all about volume. Managing our product mix will maximise profits along with further expansion to meet demand.

When you think about it, 1m lateral flow tests cannot be enough with RTC test, Mologic Antibody test and Antigen tests.
I would think if they made 2m RTC they would sell them. Problem is they dont want to over commit to the UK Government supply and not have capacity for the other products as they are higher margin. So they can either make as many UK RTC until capacity is full and then expand when other products come on board, or they restrict UK RTC to allow capacity for other products. I would think by the time the antigen tests come on board they will need expansion as antibody i am sure will already be maxed out.
Not so sure the Elisa tests will reach and consistently run at full capacity, although if they cant meet supply of POC tests the gap can be made up with Elisa.

Momentum is building towards the day where the UK RTC is front page news. They will announce a national mass testing program.
Im looking out for an increase on the 200k per week. They will want to stock pile test on mass for a one off mass testing program, which i would expect will be repeated further down the line.

Are you sure you have seen it numerous times as if you had you would know the answers regarding how the tests are going, they have even spelt it out in black and white in the Q&A.... you know this useless over egged RNS that contains all the information people need that they can't possibly miss because they have had it already.

Joking right - ODX RNS's are the least rampy on aim. As they say they prefer to be cautious.

Crazy thing is you can still buy for less than what you could before capacity was expanded 5 fold, the Mologic agreement for 3 other tests diversifying into antigen tests, design freeze and now strong indications of trial success, as well as further evidence of immunity.

Looks like more people starting to understand the facts. Some good coverage and we are getting close to the high ticket news we all know is coming. The share price is purely pivoting around the placing. It’s not reflective of value. A long way to go to realise value. It’s not really a hard company to research or value the potential, spend the time I promise you it’s worth it and understanding the upside rather than trading for a few pence. 2m tests at 50% margin is big money.

Answers one of my questions earlier about the price difference between UK RTC antibody lateral flow and Mologic.

The £1.50 is just for the sealed foil device and is not a fully packed, end product. So excludes finger prick device and packagin etc.
Mologic test would be Omega branded, fully packed ready for distribution.
So assume if we sell UK RTC privately cost will be higher (he mentions the £3 fully costed) and therefore selling price higher, so £6 ish at 50% margin.

Nelly - Agree, just wanted to make sure it was clear that that was based on only 10% utilisation.

Nelly B - That valuation forecast is based on only using 10% capacity for Mologic tests. It is inevitable that capacity will be at the top end. Valuation with full capacity is £970m
