I think this is why Hurricane was bought, AH wanted a backup with an 'almost' proven commercial system that he was actually familiar with.. As he'd seen the track record and crap sample to drill result ratio with ECR.

I do not think AH is a blagger Melville, look through his CV it does not suggest that at all. The others on the other hand (bar the geo team) I'm not so sure about. The joke is that AJ was paid 25k to deliver company making results while the others dined out on raises and 'consultancy fees'.. Unless categorically proven without anecdotal evidence we can not support the high wages and fees until we are making a profit. Simples. Yes the AGM will be very eventful indeed at this rate!

Not to sound like a cheerleader (or a yapping puppy!) but Haythorpe has definitely identified this and wants to cut the BS, he says so in every interview.. Drop what isn't working and 'zone in' on what is. Plenty of opportunity to bounce back here.

Talking of the 'Haythorpe phase', there are still a few residual leftovers of the old phase that could still weigh us down with old thinking...

There seems to be a fresh approach which AH is excited about with the antimony method. Unless I'm mistaken, you could say that the recent Blue Moon campaign was the last hurrah of the Craig Brown era, where perhaps a more hit and hope approach was had under a different management style. Although CB's enthusiasm was contagious and I want to remain respectful, AH seems to be a different breed focused on results and cutting out the flannel.

ECR is now fully in the Haythorpe phase. I for one want to see it out as I rate the guy so far. All decisions from here on out will be his, with no residual faffing or 'property investing' nonsense. I double down on wanting to see evidence of Tang's involvement and expense justification though. Saying 'we text each other on Sundays' doesn't cut it for me. Surely it's only fair!?

It's interesting that Haythorpe has repeatedly stated that 1p represents ground floor value, yet the market spills it's guts at half of that?! Saying that, CB said we should be triple the price when we were sat around 1.6. Smoke and mirrors.

Looking forward however we do have multiple exciting drilling campaigns ahead of us, there is no doubting that. I honestly think Blue Moon is a side note for Haythorpe. He has bigger fish (or elephants) to fry!

Crap way to end the week but let's hope we can move forward soon.
