RE: Tomorrow26 Mar 2023 13:13
Had a scan back on here. Interesting case study. Food for thought on a drizzly Sunday.
We've reached a point on this particular board where bold negative statements are encouraged and taken as fact. Posters on the negative persuasion have 'teamed up' to discredit or character assassinate anyone who makes even the slightest statement of optimism.. Hell even posters merely listing upcoming expected news flow are lambasted, while 'they will never find gold' - 'creswick is the last hope' etc get cheered on with enough schadenfreude to make Slytherin blush. It makes for one way traffic and skews sentiment. Interestingly, when we have official updates (the recent interview with AH & AJ for example), we get a week or so of positive then the resident hyenas do what they do best and resume the status quo. Anyone optimistic about upcoming campaigns who subscribe to the idea that trashing your own investment is counter productive are drowned out in the land slide of negativity, and at times (myself included) get sucked into it, which just makes everyone feel sh*t (is this what some of you feel all the time?). Now I realize ECR have done themselves no favours and the SP is in the toilet, but I call for mutual respect and balance. Looking at the projects ahead, nobody can deny that ECR have at least three more rolls of the dice to turn it around (Creswick, Hurricane, Lolworth + don't count out BM until we've had the final statement). I for one am hopeful. I may be wrong, but hopeful none the less. De-rampers, please allow for balance, and if you feel like getting defensive honestly scan back for the last month or so and tell me I'm wrong. Anyone new to this share stumbling in will be on Citalopram before you can say 'action packed November'. Balance means a healthy debate, all pro's, con's discussed, in a healthy way.
I could, however, just be being too sensitive. Drizzly Sunday and all.
