I suppose what makes an interesting case study is how individual PI’s act. The vast majority of us own stock so by definition we all need the sp to rise to make money (or our money back).. Unless we take our chips off the table we seem to fall into a few distinct categories:

-The hopefuls
-The doom and gloomers
-Rx

Imagine AIM (particularly gold exploration CO’s) as a giant roulette wheel.. We’ve all placed our bets.. It seems illogical to assume loss, whinge about the last 6 spins, blame the croupier etc If you hate the game, go play some blackjack!

Maybe that’s a crap analogy but it’s an interesting topic of conversation while we await news.

Look, the SP is low for a reason. Many of your points are valid and the price reflects that.

I think it comes down to whether you believe ECR is a shell company designed to fleece people, or they genuinely (albeit haven’t so far) want to succeed and re-rate for all concerned.

Frankly though saying there’s no gold and there ‘never will be’ is the exact same as a ramper saying there’s a billion quids worth, just in reverse.

You clearly misinterpret hope and optimism for baseless ramping. Investors are allowed to be hopeful, are they not? I don’t see anyone making outrageous claims other than reminding others of what’s ahead and the hope that perhaps something at last will come good!

I didn't really like how they made a point of the new rig being potentially leased.. That's the last thing I want to hear after waiting over a year for it's arrival! Get it spinning and keep it spinning! No use letting a competitor use it to find a big discovery is there?! Instead of leasing it out, maybe address overheads (including but not limited to overly inflated wages and consultancy fees!)

In reality nobody bloody knows what the next play is. IF we are in any way successful with the upcoming drilling then a future raise will be at a higher price so more palatable.

I don’t get holders who post non stop negativity. It’s like hating a movie but putting it on every night just to suffer through it.

ECR is a dog though and deserves all the negativity.
