I hope they are talking to JV partners over these tenements. The appetite will have grown enormously due to POG rise. Craig's mistake was to hold out for a super major (top 5 he said), I say we go with what we can and get digging! I'd rather ECR have a small % of a big find than try to do it all themselves and raise us into oblivion..

The market may well react positively to this RNS James, anything other than earth-shatteringly transformational updates get heavily sold into by traders upon release.. That's not to say it won't pick up later on or over the coming days. Your implication that a non positive market response means an update can't be positive is naive in my opinion, frankly.

It's difficult to speculate on funding because we don't know non core disposal asset time frames.. What we do know is what the BOD have said.. Mike said 'nonsense sunshine, that clear enough' to an X poster speculating on a raise few weeks ago, followed up with 'we're not going to do anything stupid' when asked about raises in the proceeding webcast.. It was also stated in an announcement that any fund raise would be no lower than the market price.

Any asset sale would immediately negate the need for a raise of course, which is why Mike's comments lead me to believe (and hope) that they expect to fund upcoming stuff with disposal money. Don't forget any raise dilutes their future paycheck also.

Of course we will all be the last to know.. But I think we could have some cash in the coffers before too long.

Nobody is debating the hierarchy of news James. Of course sample updates are less charged than drill/tax loss/jv announcements, but to be marked down on them with this continued pattern of selling action time and time again is worthy of note, as IMO it influences peoples decision to buy which perpetuates the narrative that the market simply doesn't care. Does it even have a chance to care? It's fairly clear where you stand James and that's fine. We are irritating local residents with our back and fourth so let's just agree that ECR need to sort it out! one way or another..

RE fund raise.. The Co quashed that rumour a week or so ago + they said any fund raise would not be below market price. Never say never of course.

Why are you so keen to rubbish the content of the news release and blame the mass sell off on it? It’s patently obvious what’s going on and you are using it as a way to insinuate the news is naff.
