Ever the realist but I must say the chart looks primed and we're due tax cash & Blue Mountain news (hopefully). There will almost certainly be an anticipation rally IMO + as we've just had the raise there's no risk of a rug pull on the next spike. GLA.

Crypto looks fun but I’m only interested in what I can stick in an ISA these days since CGT allowance got throttled to £3k pa.

Crypto has also pinched a lot of speculative punters who would otherwise invest in penny shares. It’s the perfect storm the other way atm!

I had hoped for a flurry of news post takeover, nearly a month now.. although Xmas/NY likely contributed to the vacuum. 🤞 we get some updates soon!

I presume the feasibility study is more a formality at this stage surely, or at least I hope! for all the years of data gathering, modelling, expense, buy-out etc, surely it doesn't come down to a Commodus (Gladiator) style thumbs up or thumbs down report?!

... For clarity, I agree with you RE the state of AIM, I just think it's disingenuous to suggest ECR doesn't fall into the 'obliteration' category. Ask anyone who's been here longer than 5 minutes.

Pretty sure the poor sods who bought at .47 recently feel rather obliterated at present! Not sure I entirely agree with that statement.

Thing is BBN, while I'd love to agree with this, we have been in this exact position before. 3m+ in the bank, projects all but commercial (Blue Moon, Creswick DMS, properties purchased to facilitate a declines, the list goes on). It all came to nothing unfortunately, to our expense!

IMO the market is not wrong per say, it just remembers. The new BOD are trying, but so far we don't have anything commercial and all is talk. Produce a small bar of Au and the market will give ECR a boost! Until then it reserves judgement, but is not wrong.

While 2020 was bubble like, things are cyclical and miners will have another boom.. A widely predicted $3k+ POG could well be the catalyst and I see that coming soon personally. Trick is to actually sell and take profits!

I hold GGP and while you are totally right RE the frustrations of dilution I also have faith in the Lassonde curve and see Greatland at the bottom of the post discovery dip awaiting re-rate once production figures are out etc. Same would happen here if we hit a big deposit.. Surge in price followed by a boredom dip and years of fund raising and strategy to bring it online (I'm not talking about shallow stuff more deeper deposits, say if we hit an ore body in LW). Dilution is a necessary evil I'm afraid but as long as it's accretive and not just for bloated wages etc then it's part of the game I guess! Can't avoid it on AIM.

RE salary sacrifice, all relative I suppose, either dilution or taken from cash reserves.. BUT, the more they accumulate it does make me wonder how they will ever crystallize without it having a massive impact on the sp. Makes me think the end game is a company sale, big fish snaps up ECR so their shares never hit the open market.. This would be contingent on somebody actually wanting the Co though so would incentivise results!

Not seen it mentioned anywhere but are the directors paying themselves a congratulatory bonus once the deal is done? Companies I’ve been invested in the past when a multimillion deal lands the directors nearly always snaffle a bit for themselves. I wouldn’t begrudge, it’s common practice, but would lessen the amount the Co keeps as working capital. Just food for thought, I don’t know the answer of course.
