I’m personally a tad wary of how many shares they’re collecting every month. Granted it’s a cash saving exercise short/med term but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist (to coin Burton’s phrase) that at some point they’ll want (or need) to cash in.. They’d need to sell into strength to prevent an avalanche. Negative yes, but it’s a day for it so airing further concern.

It’s imperative we get a positive BM update very soon to stop the rot.

BBN, I agree with what you said on X RE having the Blue Mountain section buried under the turd, they could have released that as a stand alone perhaps. Also, I;m not sure the market is disregarding BM, it just doesn't believe it will happen as ECR are known for hot air and not delivering (proved again this afternoon). If and when there is actual photographic evidence of a cash generative on site plant at BM then the market will perk up. Until then it'll be treated as another carrot.

What's shameless is how close they had us all believe the deal was months ago just to pump the raise, with all the paid Burton types yapping on X sucking in punters who inevitably lost real money. We now learn Octo hasn't even got out of bed after yet another extension.. punters now dumping at .22

Unless you’re in the know it’s a total gamble at this moment in time.. Either Octo are making them sweat and will sign at the 11th hour or it’ll be another carrot laden can kick RNS which will be poorly received IMO. I’d have expected the usual suspects to be preaching from the rafters if the deal was nailed on but perhaps they’ve learned their lesson?! 🎰

Impossible to make assertions until we've had an official update. ECR touting other parties this late in the game does smack of damage control but could end up being beneficial if they play their cards right I suppose.. Not sure what the market will think of yet another delay though, I suspect it won't be best pleased.

ECR has always been a leaky boat so keep an eye on the trades and buckle up.

RE the Knox inspection.. IF the gold is either not there or much of it has gone.. won't that crash the USD? Could be a massive own goal for Trump. Also, surely IF it's gone there are powers that will never allow the inspection?! Or have I been watching too many Netflix dramas??

Interesting point Trevor.. If as they say they’re soon to be producing and now have $$ from the sodding raise then why not use all the tax benefit themselves to full effect when the money rolls in??

I'm also intrigued to know what the realistic timeline is for actual production is. 3-4 months would be great but whenever I watch those 'in the field' videos on X it always seems a bit 'ohh this rock is interesting! can't wait to do more samples!' with a backdrop of hundreds of acres of land that presumably still needs prodding and poking with our relatively small team. . But yes we've all seen Aussie Gold Hunters and know how fast a washplant etc can be up and running if/when they go for it!

Want to be on your side here Doc and we all want the same thing but I'm not entirely comfortable with being gaslit here. The integrity issue is because you ramped the tax deal to high heaven for 2 weeks knowing full well punters would buy in hope.. then spanked us with a significantly discounted raise.. We all know the delay is Octo farting about we don't blame you for that. Just wanted to make that clear as that's my personal take.

I would say the extension RNS and lack of deposit is justification for a heel drag comment. Market clearly not impressed atm.. bonkers how pre raise the tax deal spin had us up 60% yet we ‘complete’ in 12 working days and mr market doesn’t give a toss.
