We also await the last 2 assays which by all accounts are much more targeted.

I agree, we’ve had weeks of negativity. For those wanting to see ECR come good let’s discuss some positives, as there are many of you care to look.

I’d have liked a question about the lab though, as having our own facility will mean they can be more selective going forward.

So Jv basically waiting for licensing to get sorted, one of which has been resolved very recently. So it’s game on then & drilling in the the area in the meantime is more about strengthening the hand.

There’s no doubt whatsoever that our acreage is laced with gold.. it’s been mine for donkeys years and we have 2021 tech so we’ll find it no doubt with the geologists on board... I mean we may have even struck on the last few unpublished holes as they are specifically targeting the ‘hypothesis’ zone.. Will be interested to hear what CB says but I agree with the general sentiment, let the RNS’s do the talking from now..

Let’s not forget the £6m in the bank, 24/7 drilling, imminent assays, massive license acreage, imminent license approvals, legacy assets, possible JV at any time. I’m disappointed and underwater but there’s a lot to be hopeful for here. A lot of these posts are almost encouraging sellers and not rationally taking stock of the situation. We have so much to look forward to. Trying to remain optimistic.

The way some are describing CB he may as well have a swivelled chair, scar and white cat on his lap!

To play devil’s advocate we don’t know why the placing was done yet do we.

Lots of PI’s understandably upset today but the drill will keep turning whether we cry or not. New opportunities will arise whatever we say, think or do (sell/hold). CB may well have dropped the ball with PI relations of late but he’s not purposefully trying to bury ECR is he. He wants it to succeed.

In a month or two these initial results will be old news and everyone will be discussing the new lot.. and whatever else pops up in the meantime.

As a poster below stated, we’re a few months into a 24 month (at least) campaign exploring some very exciting acreage.

If the exact same results had been released a month ago, perhaps in intervals of 3 holes, I very much doubt we’d have dropped anywhere near these levels. CB had a lot of work ahead of him to fix investor relations from this point. With millions in the bank, our own drill, acres and acres to explore and a possible JV I’d like tho think the SP is somewhat underpinned; but ffs what an absolute master class in how to erode your companies market value! So much could have been done differently to mitigate a 65% drop.

I topped up as I see sub 2p as cheap considering the medium term prospects, but I’m frustrated none the less.

GLA; let’s hope we’ve had all the bad luck and it’s onwards and upwards from here!

Judging by the results of other companies that noted ‘visible gold’ in their cores 20g+ Is definitely achievable BUT we have no idea how many others contained visible specs and how deep the inclusion went etc.. I was excited by the quartz anomaly and CB’s willingness to drill deeper than anticipated. Bodes well. Comparisons to Fosterville were also made in recent interviews which is intriguing. He also said we were fully funded and results soon so who knows!!?!

Will certainly be interesting to hear what he has to say! The fact he’s agreed to jump straight into an interview could be interpreted positive perhaps? If things were as awful as many on here seem to think he could easily just hide in the undergrowth until the next news drop. He clearly wishes to engage knowing full well the sentiment following the latest RNS..

Just ‘what if’ the placing was in fact due to very recent developments.. and therefore not part of the fund package allocated until 2023.. In that case he is not a liar is he.

I will admit to prescribing to a more positive outlook.

I like my analogies and this felt apt.. I’m a fan of the Age Of Empires games (first played on Windows 95 back in the day!).. the hotly anticipated AOE 4 preview dropped today and the chat was FULL of negative diatribe (‘looks crap’ ‘rubbish’ etc) It’s literally a beta (in development) preview.. reminded me of ECR.. so many loud voices declaring game over when we literally know naff all and it could all end up being rather positive!

Let’s see what CB has to say tomorrow, at the end of the day it was a placing, perhaps for a new opportunity unforeseen a month or so ago.. People seem to be jumping straight to the worst conclusions here (as usual) - should we not first see what CB has to say about it first?

One of the reasons I bailed out of JLP at 2p was Colin Bird’s constant confetti cash raises.. sentiment was bottom of the barrel. A year later I look in and the sp is almost 17p ffs.

I’m not making that mistake again, unless something catastrophic were to happen but with 5.8m, plenty of ground to drill, possible game changing results on the horizon etc why stress too much?

I’m more curious than disappointed. No reason to sell though. For a placing? What aim share doesn’t?
