Never heard of them, but will have a look. Just came across an interesting company myself and would value other opinions. AERO. Some interesting changes going on to par values and what not and a recent big buy 4%! From Nov 2014 to today they're down 99.53%! Doesn't sound good, but I think it might be a case of investors jumping the gun on a new tech. I think maybe they're just ahead of the curve and everyone got a bit excited too early as is often the case with new tech. They "provide international aerospace services and solutions focused primarily on training and education; survey and inspections; security, consultancy and data management, and analytics. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in development, marketing and selling of training programs and software in the aviation industry. Its services and products include Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Services, Survey and Inspection Services, Aerospace Information Management Software (AIMS), and Training and Operational Services. It can provide manned and unmanned long-range aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), equipped with surveillance and data collection equipment, to meet the demands of surveillance patrol requirements". Many of our clients are police and I think drone surveillance is gonna get big. Fraction of cost of helicopter and the cameras they can mount on these things now are incredible. Cost effective convictions will follow and visible street crime will fall. Will become indispensable and augment bobbies on the beat by providing that same kind of reassurance / presence / omnipotence without the smile but cheaper, can move at 200mph, not get hurt or sued or tired. They mention an upcoming fundraising, so possibly pause for that, but someone has decided time is right and just bought 80,000,000 shares and 4% of company. with the buzz around drones (pun intended) this has the potential to go vertical with right news. The herd loves a buzzword. Cam, are the spidey senses picking up anything on this one or is it just another moonshot?

Ok I get it. I think they sold at 0.18 and then it went on to rise to 0.66, but now down to 0.09! Only £50k investment tbf. It's a flimsy deramp. Do you know when VS IPO will happen? I like that Nick Jenkins is invested in VS.

Derisked NCCL. Free carry now. Split funds between ACP and LEG. Bit late in getting the chequebook out today, so had to buy ACP at 1.5. LEG at 0.139. Let's see! PREM broke 0.4 briefly today. Someone accumulating. Some big buys by looks of it.

I like ACP and LEG and will keep an eye on the VS IPO. May take some profit from Ars/nccl on Monday and take a couple of small positions. Will do more reading tonight. Jeez, some of these mining jurisdictions are hairy, Cam! :)

Forgive ignorance as I haven't researched but what's basis for valuing VS at £66m? Do we know how much revenue they're generating from these deals, the length of the deals, break clauses etc? Cheers. Btw D'you think PREM move from 0.275 to 0.35 is noteworthy from trend perspective?

NCCL and CLP news imminent. Clp Zai Nomad story a farce. Today's Rns shows BOD now more sensitive to shareholder sentiment and sp. Took some PREM after doing some research. Risky jurisdictions but historically a good price to buy, bod skin in game and pos s/t newsflow expected.

Couldn't access those due to paywall, but The Telegraph had the same story. Based on limited knowledge of what they're up to, VS sounds like a winner to me. Reminded me of Alibaba but for big institutions. Bad for suppliers but great for big retailers and public services (and tax payer) whose procurement processes are fractured, varied, drawn out and inefficient. During times of austerity, savings are essential and VS appear to have developed a cost saving opportunity for these big fish that previously didn't exist. I see LEG only has 7.2% stake though. Are you thinking about partaking in the US IPO? With pound's weakness against the dollar you have got to be optimistic that they could succeed in the states.

Looking for another play for my girls' SIPPs and PREM does seem at a good entry point. No further capital raise is anticipated or expected for RHA, which is positive. Quick look at the BB tells me the CEO is not popular but that's not unusual. Lots of dilution recently. Hmm. How likely is it to go lower? Can see .20 in Jan this year? I can see it's very active in the news front. Are you waiting for / expecting lower buy in price, cam? Had a look at AMBR. What's the main driver of interest for you here, Cam? Glad I derisked INFA. 0.46 at one point today. Feel sorry for some on the bb but others remain confident. Feel comfortable with 500k at .55 and think newsflow will now turn positive. Be interesting to see who took part in placing including BOD.

From now on I will always derisk entire investment if I pass 100%. Need to think of the next rise on the next share not hope for things to continue. Especially when it's a ST Recovery /Spec Situ play vs an proper LT investment. I like your criteria approach Cam.

Well sad day on INFA back to entry price and Sold. Just 500k remaining. Got my girls SIPPs out entirely as can't risk their capital. Kicking myself yet again for not derisking more than I did when over 100% up. That's the last time I make that mistake. CLP wait hoes on. Ditto NCCL. RLD starting to flicker now.

It's hard to tell. As I'm in at 2.4, I'd be happy with year high 9.6 When it dropped I saw it as a 50/50 but with great upside potential (Peter Wale averaged down) and so haven't put too much in. Assuming good news tomo, I was thinking of selling the lot on any spike as I don't see it as a hold due to cash burn. CLP on other hand, if that pops on court case tomo I think I'd sell 50%, keep 50%, as RKB seems to be excited by news that would follow the court case, by which I think he means imminent asset sales. He's predicted a suspension again. INFA rumours also reaching fever pitch. It can't take it. Imagine they all land tomo. The school run will be a right off.

Fwiw BZT and RLD are worth a look. Same management team. Ed Nealon is the main man. V experienced Brit miner/geologist. Best known for success with Aquarius Plat. Both shares on the upturn. All carefully managed imho. With placings and salaries taken in shares they have a firm grip on the companies now. BZT already hit bottom and up from .85. Expecting RLD to come into profit in early Q4 as indicated by RNSs. BZT has first mover advantage in Colombia (since ceasefire) for very low cost Platinum:Gold play, just as S.Africa Plat production costs go up. Colombia is about underpinning the company and making is cashflow positive. This should shortly begin to look very good and so should relate. Warrants to be cashed in around 2.5p I think (from men). Then, longer term, there is the lumbering massive Copper/Gold Mankayan asset hidden in the books. Which when it does finally sell will see this pop. Lepanto (neighbouring local miner) have just extended their mine and I think we could be next. Like I said. Very savvy management team who have a plan. I also await NCCL tomo. Lots of news due atm.

Hi Cam, May have missed COPL but already in CLP; have been for around a year. Big fan of the Beekeeper over there on the Bb. Very slow burner finally coming to the boil. The debt buy back discounts were incredible (approx 80%) and now that phase is over (during negs with banks, it helps if you appear very poor!) we can start to sell some assets and call in some ious. The shell should be worth around £60m. Difficult one to get your head round though - it is an unusual play. These Italians certainly know how to play the game.

Fair enough. Sensible given how quickly things can change. You need to be constantly vigilant at this end of the market. Saw a tweet reply from Barondaytrading saying he's not sold, so that was just a rumour. Sold some, kept some & moved into RLD near placing price.

Great summer, thanks. Extension done, little break in Devon with the family. Now back to work, sadly. I think I may reluctantly take 20% profit on INFA down from 100% not long ago. You still holding some INFA then? On another front, my longtime (5yrs) tracking of Ed Nealon companies is bearing fruit. Watched it all the way down from 30p finally buying at 2p, but finally BZT seems to be on the up after .80 bottom and low cost Platinum-Gold play in Colombia now selling commercially thereby underpinning the company, there is a long way back up to go imho. At the back of the cupboard behind the marmite and piccalilli lies the Mankayan copper-gold project which was fully impaired in the accounts in 2016 and is now under the radar, but is teed up for awesome recovery, if they can sell it or get a JV. Politics again the issue here (Philippines is not mining friendly) but has been improving of late. Not sure on RLD which has had an equally long slow decline, but with directors taking salaries in shares and profitability close, I think this could do the same. As so hit all time low today, possibly one more round of fundraising to increase their overall control of company before recovery - just like BZT. I look fwd to imminent humiliation on these two now I've posted. You should definitely do another £10k challenge. Would def follow with interest.
