Anyone tempted to buy NCCL. Be aware.... The reason for drop imho is due to recent GE cuts in their Power division and rebalancing away from fossil fuels (softness in gas and coal markets due to various reasons). I think what market are missing is that that is in North America and Europe. In this part of Africa there isn't oversupply (or electricity period) or other issues they mention as far as i can tell it's a diff proposition entirely. This isn't an ethical switch away from coal. Fwiw imho, this is a sensible part of the energy mix for Mozambiqie and a winner for GE financially and given how long these strategic changes take to come to fruition and that GE's top dog was in position when NBA was signed in China to much ceremony... I can't see this being for the chop. Theyve v recently indicated a serious commitment to MOZ and Africa more generally. It would be awful PR for them in Africa and utterly incomplete from a senior management perspective to lead the Chinese and Mozambiqie on
