That said, nothing has changed since you first bought in around a month ago according to your previous posts. This smacks of trolling. Be very careful about what you claim and be sure to be able to verify it because share manipulation is an offence.

If you mean book value then you can't do the calcs without knowing the latest financials. Final results due in April. Back to the naughty step for you.

Yes Timmbos and Trurotrader. I'm an old timer here too. First bought in in late 2013 at 10p on the back of the DGC project. SP went to 12p then slowly started to erode as it became clear that the DGC initiative was a very hungry little beast putting an enormous strain on cash flow. But I liked the fact that the company hadn't got all its eggs in one basket, the air purification division was doing well in the defence sector and you don't get companies like BAe sub contracting to anything other than quality firms. Then we had the tie in with Spirax Sarco - by this time the sp was around 6p at which time I topped up. Then we had the re-branding and new focus for the Company. A brave but realistic move which acknowledged the failings of the past and put in place a growth strategy. By December 2015 the sp had fallen to 1.88p but I had enough exposure and didn't top up. So, my average is 8p and I'm just into a teeny profit. We also have two new institutional investors specialising in VCT and EIS on board who have spotted the potential for this exciting little company. Looking good. ATB

Indeed Sisyphus and I think there is one more factor in TPG' s favour in terms of retaining its independence which is the Government's stated intention to negotiate directly with SME' s rather than continuing down the sub contracting route with, for example BAe. That said, if we are speculating about suitors, I think it more likely to be an SME already operating in this market requiring another string to its bow such as Cohort. Like you though I'm very, very happy with the way things are going. ATB

One other thing I'd say is that although there have been posts on here forecasting 'imminent' announcements of the MoD contracts (currently in negotiation) and suggesting April would be likely because of the setting of defence budgets, as I'm sure you will know, Govt contracts take a long time to negotiate. Although I can see the logic in folks more recently suggesting April, the proposed contracts actually span 8 years-ish, and the Govt have already told the great unwashed (us!) about their long term defence spending intentions. So, imho the defence budget is high priority and April is not necessarily a key date. We could have news anytime - could be next week or next year and who's to say what goodies might come along in the meantime - but either way what a transformation from the Corac days. Exciting times. Just to be clear, a couple of the institutions listed Hargreaves Lansdown - (I forget the other one and don't have time to go to website) are nominee accounts, the others, L&G, M& G, Octopus and Hargreave Hale are genuine institutional investors. All good stuff. M & G and L & G have been here for at least 3 years. Octopus and Hargreave Hale are more recent significant shareholders. Vote of confidence.

Hello, I don't have a personal holding here but want to let you know that Hargreaves Lansdown have today announced that they've amassed a 2.4% stake in GBG for their Select UK Shares Fund (where I do have a holding).

Results in line with current market expectations (ie based on the trading update 14 December) and cash balance increased from 7m to 9.2m. ATB

Nicely played. Getting in at 1.88p even better but its impossible to call the bottom and of course once a share goes into freefall or sky rockets logical thinking goes out of the window for some folks and they behave like lemmings. ATB

Oh, and I think I mentioned a little while ago that both Hargreave Hale and Octopus are have been building a stake here for their VCT portfolio clients. Their strategy is to look for ground floor investment opportunities with young companies offering exciting longer term growth prospects. Not interested in vacuous pump and dump rubbish. Bring it on.

Ah well, as a cutting edge business TPG, I'm sure, will be focussing on innovation. They might also need revenues/cash to support delivery of the highly likely MoD contracts. This, together with some well targeted smallish acquisitions, would imho be a good strategy. Not dis-similar to IDEA's modus operandi. That said, I wouldn't turn my nose up at a divi!

I think dividends are a possibility but not necessarily from trading profits, which might be better invested to further grow this very exciting little business, but rather from the capital reduction action taken in August to create distributable reserves. ATB

Ah yes Sisyphus, and I see that Hargreave Hale have increased their Discretionary Client exposure by adding a further 1m shares (approx) crossing the 10% threshold. Also McCree has replaced King as NE Chairman. Given McCree's extensive experience in defence and tech sectors, looks like a good move to me. ATB

Brilliant news. What a change from the old Corac days. Unlike so many AIM companies where the execs just continuously rip off investors with the lure of some pie in the sky rewards, this little company is making real things for real customers and has had the courage to knock loss leading projects on the head and reinvent itself.
