NRL2901. - that’s my point in previous post. We have gone from sentencing in January to a mention hearing in June. Something going on, June will be the real rollercoaster me thinks. I’m in big on this share and have been averaging down for years. I’m still a believer though. I originally decided to hold as dividends were very good, should have been in and out a few times but will ride it out now.

Kidman, yep so many opinions. Just does not stack up to me though, he should have already have been sentenced & eating porridge. ( sorry mean full fry up served by a waiter) no porridge any more.
Too have to wait until June bearing in mind he has been in court many times with all expecting sentencing to happen. Something not stacking up as this appears to be a ‘Mention hearing’. How many do they need. I agree PFC (uk) co-operating but they have still not been charged.

Jan 2021 Lufkin pleads guilty to additional counts of bribery. Feb 2021 the Supreme Court reversed on the ‘Territorial Scope’. In other words companies do not have to produce documentation if outside the UK. Lufkins company was outside the UK. SFO after 4 years were forced to close down the case against KBR as it did not meet the evidential test. KBR & PFC were connected to Unaoil. I believe Lufkin will not be sentenced on June 21 as it is a ‘Mention hearing’ where he will confirm if he is guilty or not.
With the above in mind it is now a possibility that Lufkin will plead not guilty. He could stress that any information given was under duress. IF the courts accept his reasoning, they could then strike out evidence submitted. You cannot be found guilty without evidence. Hence the dropping of the KBR case. If we apply the same principal then Lufkin will not be sentenced, no fine and potential exoneration of PFC.
Stranger things have happened at sea.

We Just need June to arrive, followed by the Lufkin sentencing. (If any) to be concluded. Then we should see the return of the ‘Petro’

Poker chips- Good point & you are correct about “we don’t know how much Lufkin personally benefited”. Read my previous post. That’s the point, he has been charged & no one else current or EX employee at PFC has been charged. Also note prison sentences have been handed out to unaoil people. However, I cannot seem to find any info on fines. (If any exist). Difficult to fine a company if an employee has committed fraud. Also note, cases now being dropped by SFO for companies involved with Unaoil. PFC are not clean purely on the basis that Lufkin was an employee. However, it is starting to look as if PFC may not be implicated to the level people are assuming. Not even the ex accountant who was removed from his position has been charged. Even now PFC are defending their corner. They have given no quarter.
The above speaks volumes.

Still no one charged at PFC. I vaguely remember Lufkin had full responsibility for sales contracts of a PFC subsidiary & that separate accounts were kept by him. We may find out in June that PFC are in some way a ‘victim’ & that Lufkin himself also profited directly with unaoil.
In 2019 nearly £200 million of alleged fraud against businesses were recorded with employees manipulating accounts or abuse of position for there own financial gain. Yes PFC may pay a fine for incompetence by allowing an employee to exploit control weaknesses, but in turn this may exonerate PFC. So is the above the real reason why no one at PFC or the company as been charged or prosecuted. Fraudsters are masters at taking advantage of weaknesses or gaps in a company’s internal controls.

Parcel man thanks for your comments. What’s your opinion on the viability of DX being consumed by a bigger player or even a reverse takeover of a competitor. Maybe the real growth has been limited by capacity & logistics to which they are addressing at pace. Consolidation of computer systems etc seems to be almost complete. I think they have laid out a solid foundation. I believe they have acted with sustainable growth in mind. The management team are Pro’s at this. As the saying goes, never invest in a new management team from a different industry. These guys know there stuff.

Repression, have faith, this makes no sense at all. Still think this is a medium term takeover. It was not that long along that Menzies & DX nearly joined. DX in a much better place now.

A bit of a joke to be honest. Why did they pay a dividend, when they should have been reducing a bit of debt. Yep NAV 20% below, talk about manipulative buying at the right time. I assume we get to vote a no deal ? They need 75% approval to get it through. Share holders need to say no in order to get a much better offer.

Deep3. Listen to the above as you obviously have not seen it. Worth watching it all. But the DX Bit starts at 12 mins. The guys says value up to £1. Long term.

Exactly P.swigger. I think it’s a very positive RNS.
Financial position strong. Good headroom. 3 new depots to be added. Healthy new business pipeline. The big take away for me is ‘ADJUSTED’ profits materially ahead in financial year. How many times do you see companies posting so called good profits before PBIT, EBITDA & so on and then the P&l/balance sheet shows a big pre-tax loss. In other words they add nothing to the bank balance. Ie: The bit that pays dividends, expansion & bills.
I think Stephen English PI World interview hit the nail on the head. He predicts £1 long term. Management are big share holders and for some it’s there last stand at a turnaround. They want to leave with a massive profit.

Did the same with DX. Bought £10k @ 7p and that’s recovered well, still think it’s got a way to go in my opinion, so will hold that one. I agree that’s the way the markets go. Always difficult to call it.

Whoever is buying small amounts, possibly 100 orders placed today, please can you continue for a week or so, I only need 17p to break even then you can have my shares as well. You doing a fine job job of pushing up the price.

Ian.b. Yes good write up. Noticed OPG POWER was also in there. Think it’s got along way to go as well, just like Loop. Minimal debt, but real tangible bricks & mortar assets, with good t/o. Indian power market just kicking off again. It’s just a bit unloved. Can’t comment on the others.
