Good post Bladey. Lufkin is being ‘sentenced’ on 11th Feb. No one else from Petrofac has been charged. Normally people are sentenced once the case has even concluded. Or am I wrong..?

I’m in big on this share and well down.
Apparently it’s not unusual for the shorters to have someone watching all court hearings from the gallery. That way they build a picture of the case, apparently. Not sure if it’s correct. But would make sense.

Good post & Spot on Raleigh. “Worth reading Mmarch post again” CD&R will end up with 25% share holding. Any shares not taken up maybe offered to them. However, once they have hit the magical 30% then the take over code applies. Basically they have to make an offer for the remaining shares. They could do this by a scheme of arrangement. In reality even when they have 25% they may already be part of a concert party which could include Directors etc who have a share holding. Remember the dilution. The price is hanging around 30p. Funds To be injected will leave zero debt. As a going concern this could be a steal & private investors could be left out in the cold. JP Morgan moving closer to 10% so would not take much to get a heads of agreement by larger shareholders to force it through.
As people are saying it can go either way on the spin of a dime. DYOR.

I’m also noticing on certain sites that some people believe that the dilution is only 25%. It’s not it’s closer to 60%. 591 million in issue now, with 347.5 million new shares. As I have already posted the price has gone from £15 When I was a lad down to 15p this year.
Your right about 2010 that’s why in 2009 they issued 455 million new shares via an equity raise.
So when this pile of cash runs out. Then what .? I think you theory Has merit.

Birdseye. I buy shares in £10k lots. Just sold over 50000 today. Never made such a big margin on this share, this is the 2nd time I have in the last 3 months. It’s a rollercoaster share. My Original thought was this could recover to 75p plus, but with the latest news & yet another finance raise I’m not so sure. I would prefer Pi to make money, but In reality, they are the people that ultimately loose out. Long standing Employees really get screwed by many PLCs by thinking there monthly allocation will make them millionaires one day. (Unfortunately Del Boy got that wrong as well).

Clearly a lot of people don’t need to read an RNS, a lot of people work on many years experience of this share. For the avoidance of doubt SHI has lost up to 99% of its value. When David Graham was the MD the share was approaching £15.00. April this year it hit 15p (that’s 15 tiny, little pennies). Why.? Surely not through bad management constant borrowings, another revised business plan & yes, another “Share Dilution” No point in reading words when the numbers tell you the “story”.
So. using the word de-ramping is in fact a falsehood. It’s your money so DYOR.

Jaajoon, I think the reason for the jump in share price is people now see this as a safe bet, in the RNS 25-3 they stated that they would be able to operate with NO SALES REVENUE for a period of 2.5 years. Think about it, that’s massive, most companies struggle after a couple of months with limited revenue. So in other words they could turn the lights off for 2 years & still have a buisness.

I agree Union. I’m Just sick of losses so took some profit for a change. Shares normally double in value when I sell. Lol

Sorry had to sell up. Just read today’s RNS £9 million loss for 1st 2 months (jan/fab). Dividend and special dividend cancelled as expected. Concerned if they shut up shop the losses will increase dramatically. Hope I’m wrong, just thought I would give you all the heads up. GL all.

Robo, can you quantify, 17%, are you talking about total of group sales, a particular division, or a particular trading depot, have the figures taken into account recent disposals in order to create a strong balance sheet. Figures I would suggest are meaningless until end of quarter.

No, it looks like it’s a beyond air product, licensed to Circassia. My point is beyond terminated it’s agreement 19 Dec 2019 just as Covid 19 was becoming known to the world. Have they had a better offer or do they want to keep all the profit by removing the middle man. Think we all know how big this is, if the product is successful. Imagine Cir share price if they win the case. (Should there be one).
