For those who do not understand what Blubay is alleging (or just could not be bothered to read that weighty tome).

Her alleged sophisticated strategy that involves a series of pre-planned trades, particularly those conducted at above-market prices, to generate a profit from a CLN conversion is not illegal on its own. However, if the intent of those trades is to deceive or manipulate the market, it would be a serious offence under UK law, punishable by significant fines and, in some cases, imprisonment.

For the benefit of those not so experienced in these CLN deals I thought I would explain it further (thinking of you Dai...)

Say I have a £10 voucher for Tescos which I can use from a future date, lets say the 25th of September. I want to spend that money now however in Sainsburys.

I know someone who will buy the voucher off me now for £9.50 When we get to the 25th of September, my friend accompanies me to Tescos, I give him the £10 voucher and he spends it as he wishes.

I win because I have had the funds I wanted a week early and my friend wins because he is able to spend the voucher in Tescos with a £10 voucher he paid £9.50 for.

Plenty to be made in the meantime whist we have these little predictable daily movements ,if the volume is sufficient...

To a certain extent Dai, what Blubay is asserting is manipulation.

With a CLN, they sell the shares before the conversion and settlement occurs to lock in a profit margin and manage risk. Since no shares are loaned, it's not a short sale in the classic sense.

That is what I have observed, it is legal and not the manipulation which Blubay eludes to.

I have been pointing that out in several posts over the last 2 weeks. I think we can see that in the ten day average volume of 1.7bn

Her behaviour has been poor since she sold out.

While cross trades are legal, executing one at a price significantly above the market (e.g., 0.58p when the market was at 0.4p) is highly unusual. If this was a pre-arranged trade designed to serve as a high-priced reference point to benefit the CLN holder, and it lacked a legitimate reason beyond creating a misleading impression of value, it could be deemed manipulative.

Have you reported this as market abuse Blubay, or are you just throwing allegations around on a chat board in a poor attempt to get a lower entry?

I was told the CLN deal specifically mentioned that they must NOT short the stock. What you are explaining there Blubay is your theory that they are doing just that.

Blubay is asserting that there is a sophisticated and potentially manipulative strategy in play. The debt holder, by strategically timing a CLN conversion, has been able to generate a large profit by first selling the shares they expected to receive at a high price, and then orchestrating the conversion to happen at a lower price, which is calculated using a 10-day average price formula. She believes a specific, large, off-market "cross trade" was a key part of executing this plan.

Another subtle de-ramp and suggestion of foul play from Blubay.
