CFDs allow you to speculate on the future direction of a market's price without owning the underlying asset.

Ownership of a share does not exist in CFD so hedging not an issue. No different from horse racing, you don't own the horse and neither does the bookie.

No need, its a bet and they make on the spread. If the person bought the actual share they would get it for example 1p. In a CFD bet the price will be 1.2p or .98p depending which way they are betting. As 70+ percent of these bets lose and there is leverage involved they make lots of money, the house always wins! (Margin call).

Chesh, with CFD they are betting on the difference between the open price and a close price. No shares are ever purchased or borrowed. It is purely a bet on the difference up or down.

A bit like two ants crawling up a wall and betting on which one gets there first. No one owns the ant or the wall.

FYI that is 1% of CFD's not actual borrowed shares. Just gamblers betting down rather than up.

Whatever transpires, Good news until at least Q1, imo. Anyone who has assessed the information at that point and stays in may be taking the risk of a tiny portion of a very large pie. (but atm we are non-profit making so even that tiny portion will be more profitable than this stage). Fair price circa 3p one ML granted imo.

There are no reported shorts on HE1, just little CFD gamblers who misuse the term for their bets.

Interesting that Blubay and Zoffy are missing today? Do we read anything into that?
