I have been contemplating buying some here today merely as a punt but decided against it for now as it sounds from the RNS that it could be period of waiting now to learn IF and I emphasise IF any positivity or progress can be achieved in the short to medium term.
Until then this share will be at the mercy of more seller's imo

Because any info deemed price sensitive by the nomad must be released at the time of the info coming to light Would not have looked good if they'd waited till Jan as there would have been even more questions being asked.
The good thing is that it's out the way now and the complete over reaction by the market will be reversed.

The longer the wait on carapa the more likely that it'll be very good news imo

Almost 11k trades so far this morning already this is primed to close 55-60p today

It's pretty clear imo that today's news took the market by surprise and certainly did not justify a 71% drop.
You have to go back to 2000 since the SP was this low. Combination of a knee jerk reaction to the RNS that snowballed throughout the day, stop losses being taken out and perhaps some trying to sell out in the hope of catching the bottom imo.
Not ramping but this has recovery back to at least 55-60p written all over it tomorrow.

No one ever said that your trolling/de-ramping tactics had any effect on the SP but what it does is show your true colours on these chat boards.

Developing revenue pipeline
It still looks like a roll of the dice, but I think if there was ever a chance for it to get funding, it must be now as more clarity develops on its revenue pipeline. Most recently, it signed a deal with Muntajat, a state-owned distribution company in Qatar to sell its future flagship product, POLY4 fertiliser, to various countries.

Earlier this year, it signed an agreement with India’s agricultural cooperative society, IFFCO, to supply the fertiliser for 11 years. So far, things seem to be going well for SXX on this front, which reported a 38% improvement in crop yields of chick peas after a trial use of POLY4. With India being the second most populous country in the world, with growing food requirements, this could bode well for Sirius in that this is possibly a first step into a large agricultural market and if successful, can also open up other markets to it.

Buyout possibility
One of these could be China, which is even more populated than India. In fact, speculation in recent news is that Sirius Minerals may be bought out by a Chinese company for this reason. If SXX does indeed fail to raise funding and does end up being acquired, that may not be a bad thing for investors either. On the contrary, its share price could rise on such news.

I remain positive on SXX’s prospects, especially because the price is so low now that there’s little to lose on the investment and much to gain, just so long as we don’t turn our investments into a gamble.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed of late here with the lack of news and communication to shareholders which is why I sold some of my holding last week and put it in somewhere else.
I will still retain the rest in the hope of some tangible progress but perhaps Osa is learning sharply the realities of running an AIM listed company?
The recent development about us shareholders finding out about the shut in a few months back from other sources certainly did not impress me one bit considering it should have been deemed price sensitive info at the time...

Of course they haven't produced anything yet they have been quite clear in that they are an exploration company that have been focussed on proving up potential reserves so far.
However all could be about to change soon....

"Gold (>0.1 g/t Au) was encountered in the samples taken, including a grade of 95.6 g/t Au and 773 g/t Ag, as well as further samples of 19.1 g/t Au and 15.2 g/t Au. Mineralisation appears to be present across an area of at least 2 km2, making M3 a large and highly prospective target."

So they may not have produced anything yet but the potential gold and copper resources identified are very encouraging. The inferred copper resource is 4.3M tonnes however the company confirmed that over the 2km area the upper resource potential could be 200M tonnes plus.

It won't be long imo before this stock starts to get the level of interest it deserves and I may pick up some more here next week...

Just had a look for the weather forecast for Black mountain and Huntoon valley area and it looks to remain very mild there on Black mountain for the next week at least with temperatures between 6-10c so bodes well for work there to continue at this time of year...
