How much does BIG-P actually matter to PMO? Does it bring much to the table in terms of finances and of what importance is it as an asset? There was considerable build up to the announcement but it seems to have peetered off the discussion board.
The PMO SL design team in Singapore have been ramping up the FPSO preps recently, the news of the finances getting approved filtered through a wee while back.
I concur with that thought. A lot of focus on Zama, SL farm out & Tolmount but the dark horse in my view is this farm in and potentially huge return from these dormant reservoirs which are waiting to get fired up.
When's the announcement?
Err, OK.
Little point in posting links that you need a subscription to view.
Well that's the other Middle East big oil companies starting to cac their pants also. I know of one planned shutdown this week being deferred for foreseeable future and instructions to ramp up production to maximum for the next month at least.

Contractors in the PMO team, just as in most projects in Singapore. There are a number of staffies aswell.
I know several members of the team actually there just now.
We can't be too far off announcing the approval of Sea Lion, the team are already in Singapore, drawings/designs have been produced and contracts with supply vendors are 99.9% in place.

Have these been forgotten about?
ROS1, you're correct, the controls system can be a nightmare on the Compressors. We took weeks trying to set up the Anti Surge Valves on one system I was assisting starting up. One incorrect download can set you back but hopefully BW have got a good team onboard and they have bought CCC's. I don't know the flow rates from each producer so it's an unknown as to how long they'll be before they have full flow through the separators.
I do believe the final sign off on the Cat Gas Compressors is just about done. Just got word that the Production team onboard just need to start plant optimisation and 60k will be proven.
