Shorts start of last week were 5.77% now 6.29% Unless I do not understand, shorts are not closing ahead of the Trading Statement etc, but increasing. I, still, remain positive for the long term, not the short-medium term I had hoped for.

I did not say anything about changing my view on this share, I was merely stating that that could be the reason for the share price fall this week........but not today.

Like you are I am hopeful there are shorts being closed......but yes, England 2-1 Keep Da Faith!

Brightsphere increased their short position couple days ago...maybe that's why the fall as could be us minions don't see this until while after event?

Whilst I agree that the committe report on outsourcing is potentially good news for the likes of IRV, I feel the latest political uncertainty is what is weighing on this share:1 the fear of a labour government and 2 the government are concentrating on Brexit and their own internal frictions....not a time for ministers to focus on running the country and sorting issues such as outsourcing ( similar to railways fiasco ).

Whilst select committees etc make recomendations...and we must remain hopeful government will award contracts on unrealistic commercial bids ( railways again ), cannot shift risk totally to the private sector.....will the bean counters let them?

Above all, last week was quite encouraging for the share......this week I feel it's politics. KEEP THE FAITH ( bought £10K here at 93P )

I try to stay positive. If this is positive news, and the market is strong, why the big fall after stability last week? Is it because of the threat of a Corbyn Government as there is political uncertainty? I thought D Davis wrote a good letter and does not seem to be rocking the boat.

I actually think this has been quite a good week...kept testing red but ended in blue......maybe a slow, steady climb back up......

Thanks. Like you I believe in this share. I feel the worst news is out on one go and now steady rebuilding. There are many blue chip shares ( Rolls Royce ) who have had bad news, share price tanked and in doldrums, only for mew management getting to grips and slow rebuild. BE PATIENT

Have any of you noticed how often this site is down or has blips? Also, why is information not up to date? EG, financial calendar has nothing for 2018! Am I missing something?

When you say 'Senior' I think you need to clarify without naming names. You bought in at 72P, but when? D.White bought in at over 90P and she has not sold.

One minute down 2%...next time I look up 4%.......what is going on? quite high volume today. One question, if every sale must be matched by a buy and vice versa, how do people say more were bought or more sold on any day and where are these figures?

not a huge buy, but a buy nevertheless.......
