Why have the shorts reduced....isn't that supposed to lift share price? or is the debt/interest rate etc the bigger issue?

Yes, I am still holding my £10K @ 93P I normally buy for quick sale after sudden fall; this share has so far escaped that formula....now I just have to be patient. I see trickles of good news but nothing major; I see shorts rising and falling; I see political clouds and sun.......I MUST BE PATIENT!

Another good reduction is short position. Confucious say, 'every long march begins with single step' More good news drips out about IRV and outsourcing. When the tide really turns this share will fly back to 120p.....in my VHO.

If people get carried away commenting on every little, or big, movement then it has no value. It is trends or general direction. Look at the facts too; shorts will be a big influencer on this share.

As far as Meta is concerned, why don't you all BLOCK HIM? It is like couples complaining they argue but do nowt about it.?

I agree with AteNRG. Patience will be rewarded. I expect more good news to trickle out. When the market perceives IRV really has turned the corner, shorts will close and SP rise.

Large volumes of SELLS. Price holds and dare I say it, trend is upwards......

A large volume with some large ( 400K ) sales. A considered trading update more like 'steady as she goes'.....and yet share price recovers most of ground.....and 70p ish seems like new resistance level. Holdon, not for the quick buck, but I am sure patience will be rewarded; and I bought 10K at 93 some months ago.

Sorry, you cannot have been 'listening for years' as DW and her team only been in job a short time!

Agreed..if it swings by that amount or more in 30 minutes, NO indication trend for rest of day. We have been up 5% AM, down 4% until 3pm and then close up 4% BE PATIENT. Are you a DAY TRADER or a medium to long term investor?

SHORTS INCREASING Now over 7%

Good to see larger volumes translating into a steady climb...........unless there is bad new in the update on August 7th, I see this back over 100P by September.

Forever blowing bubbles. My sincere apologies for not paying full attention to completing the post and once again STRONG BUY. I have £10K here, a small percentage of my portfolio, am a long term investor for many years and whilst I like quick gains will also play the long game.

SHORTS INCREASED AGAIN, up from 5.6% last week to 6.8% now....and btw, that is not a 1% increase but a 20% increase. 10% to 11% is a ten percent increase......share price steady and rising...shorts increased...confused.com
