Could it actually be Apollo to counter Sidra’s move for Wood Group. I was thinking that as an option, however Halliburton would also make a good fit.

Apollo ended its pursuit of Wood Group because it could not make another takeover approach for six month window and Sidra came in with a 1.6b offer.

Sidara's move for Wood Group came amid concerns that London-listed companies are easy targets for acquisition due to their perceived relative undervaluation.

Fireworks yesterday just before 3pm and sizeable buys were worked through. Let’s see where we head today, but my gut is telling me higher with good volume. GLA

Yep crazy but I took another 10k at 14.98……only to see it 2 mins later at 13.5.

Well that was fun 14p to 17.6p in 20 mins then sideways until the last 20 mins and back down to close at 14p. Some sizeable buys were filled today…….lets see what the verdict is.

Well something happened just before 3pm that set off all the 20k and 250k buys and then some 450k and 500k orders…….shaken a few stops in the last 10 mins - thought the mms would rug the bid
