I think Pru is worse off, so based on what happened a cpl of weeks ago I see no reason why Landsdowne will not short the hell out of this one. As an investor I will look for a good entry point to average down.

Pru will suffer the same fate as Aviva. My suggestion get out and then buy in when this hits £1.60.....CEO leaving and profits down.

Seems pretty settled at around 2p - 10% either way. Hoping for some more news on Henderson and whether or not some counter offers are received. Hopefully the weekend will bring some positive news. Aberdeen Ass't Management or Schroders could send this one back upto the 3p +. Hoping for something like what happed with EIDOS yesterday......

Henderson said it would pay 22 million pounds for New Star's ordinary shares and a further £70 million for pref share holder. Well market capitalisation at present is under 5 million I believe, so share price in my opinion is going to be 5.5p + .......my calculations may be wrong, but suppose the mkt and fellow buyers will interpret the info and price will reflect this?

NSAm has been up and down a lot of late - IMHO this will bounce feel people are buying getting out and then buying back in again. I think I may top up another 25000 shares at this money

I'm a realist and as this sp has jumped in the last half hour it has dropped back only because investors don't want to be caught out.......loads of losses for all last week so when your in the green can't blame those for taking their profit. I too am a realist and even if the bid was 80 mil then this share price should treble - being cautious I'll happily wait for 5p, which it should hit as it got very close a fortnight ago and we have has more posite news about NSAm over the past couple of days. These are a bargain at 1.70 these will defo see 4p in the next week or so. Lost a fortune on financials this week - hoping to double my money at these prices. Takeover rubblings should see a nice climb at these prices

Hoping to see small steady rises over the next few days - potential of 7p having looked at what is being written elsewhere. Lots of interest and potential windfall for the investor - makes a nice change......

Think this one will rise steady over the next few days - nervous investors bailed out, but has a strong upside. Yes a risk, but aren't they all these days. I topped up today at 9.5p hoping for a 50% increase over the next few days.
