Mr. Julian Andre Treger has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of Firestone Diamonds PLC., with effect from 24 July 2012. Julian Treger has almost 30 years of experience in capital markets and corporate transformation, which will assist the future development of Firestone. Julian sits on a number of company boards where he seeks to add value and in particular, he was instrumental in the restructuring of Western Coal, driving a strategy of value creation and ultimately disposing of the business for over US$3 billion to Walter Energy in 2011.Julian is a partner in Audley Capital Advisors LLP, which is an advisor to the Audley European Opportunities Master Fund, a shareholder in Firestone. Something certainly happening and with the DFS only a couple of weeks away I wouldnt be surprised if some major has shown an interest here. Lets face it what we have is something very unique and worth a lot of money!!! Takeover one possibility. The sale of BK11 Botswana and that cash injected here and we could unlock some real value. I just hope that whatever the BOD do that they get a fair sum and that in my mind is 50p + as things stand. BK11 worth 150 mil and Lesotho according to what I have read anything upto 2.5 Bil. 50p places a 250 mil value on the business - very conservative if you ask me, however a 10 fold return from the current market cap

Henderson have upped their stake by 50%. Gone from 40 million shares to 60 million. We have another large institutional buyer.

Would be circa 15 - 20p maybe a little more - remember this is only a tenth of what this was worth 18 months ago. Would think that Costain will be looking at a takeover.......said this before.

Markets don't like questionmarks and the issue here was with financing and that has now been agreed. They have been paying down debt since 2007. No rights issue either and there are very few shares on the market. The decline in advertising in print is across the whole sector. Financing place is the big thing here and takes us to 2015, which is the breathing space required - time is what all businesses need. In 3 years expect debt to reduce by at least £150 million and gives the company at further reducing cost base and build on digital growth

Tell me about it the amazing fact remains that JPR serviced a debt at a totally inflated rate and coped with ease......new terms will be much kinder as the previous deal was done at the height of the credit crunch and Lehmans collapse. Thats why I anticipate a 100% rise from these levels sharpish. Bottom line figures taking to account a reduction in interest payments is very good news.

Going here as we get closer to an RNS confirming successful refinancing. May even see a couple titles being sold too.

Will get us into double figures - 15p very attainable. As there are only fewer shares available this will motor upwards very quickly.......if it gets going then 25p-30p could come in a couple of trading days
