Interesting that TLW haven’t farmed out there 60% interest in Guyana yet. They are the operators. This goes against their recent exploration strategy. Are they that confident to go without a farm out or are they negotiating? If they do farm out, it will be interesting to see how much the deal is worth. Farm out before drilling or after.

Some massive buys today. TLW shares should appreciate with oil price. However, the recent RNS didn’t say anything new that wasn’t already known and previously mentioned in November. Hedging of barrels seems on the low side. Production increasing by around 10-12k per day which isn’t bad. Uganda still slow - I guess they are negotiating any tax associated with Uganda farm in with Uganda government. Guyana could be massive. I think it’s one to accumulate over the next 6 months or so.

itsyou - I'm not sure I would agree that ECO are not in this for production. At the end of the RNSs they state material value to be delivered via development. No point in finding billions of barrels without monetising the assets. Surely that's the best strategy to deliver shareholder value?

although I don't entirely disagree with some of what you say, this is no typical wild cat drill. I will sell when ready but may leave a percentage as the drill progresses and to final target depth. There will be plenty of games and I'm sure there will be leaks and possibly progress updates. can't see it dropping much if we are lucky enough to wait on flow results

haven't you researched the success case in the North slope in recent times - good chance of success. Now is the time to buy in so you get a chance to derisk if you want to. No point looking for a cheaper buy in now - its too late
