I’m not so sure that a longer drill time equates to a successful outcome. As it’s a new basin, they need to log the geological results as they go down. It’s all useful information for the block and future drills. Not seen such a tight ship before. Surely a good result in the first target would have made it’s way into the market?

TLW aren’t great keeping to timescales but you can’t usually fault their exploration success.

Can’t see any news next week and there’s no whiff of any leaks considering all the industry and big institutions looking at this. Thought something would leak in the Guyana press but jack all yet.

No doubt the market would punish ECO for non commercial, however, i feel ECO current share price is backed up by Hammerhead. So in the event of a poor result, you would be stupid to sell.

i remember just before the BKR deal the share price fell from around the early 30p to around low 20s and then bingo, same is happening now.
However, i still feel that its usual summer tumbleweed and some macro economics affecting the share price. Expecting increase to September update and then possible acquisition in late Q3

no it wont, we had significantly less shares than we have now. That was around 2010 and the market was way diffrerent - oil at $100, sentiment was better and oil shares were all flying. News of oil and this will be around 15-25p.
by the way i hope it would be £2+ as i have approx 800k shares

We know Serica are looking to make further acquisitions. I don't think another BKR type of transaction is likely to happen. Happy if there is though.
Considering the slowish pull back to these levels, what is the likelihood of part BKR, part cash and part dilution to make a mega acquisition? Raise funds at £1?

I suggest ECO/ TLW/ TOT sink a production well into the Hammerhead prospect in Orinduik and start draining it before Exxon et al, lol

If the results for Jethro are not known yet, maybe the reason QP have farmed in is due to Hammerhead and what lies beneath
Jethro may just be be the icing on the cake.
Been scratching my head why would they buy in mid drill unless as someone said there are other multiple prospects
