You would think those in the know have known about this for some time, MM have done a good job to grab shares before the news breaks officially to the wider market

Although a positive Carapa result will help with sentiment and get the share price back into a positive trend, the main issue here is the board over promising and under delivering. Market conditions need to improve as does production growth to reduce debt.

with all the discoveries around Guyana, is it really a "wild cat", better question maybe - is it "heavy" or "light" oil. Nothing guaranteed though

- Kenya is a slow burner
- Carapa - these Guyana drills are pretty quick, so we should be at the target zone, do they have any indications yet???
- Jethro - is it commercial or not
- Ghana - when are they going to resolve the production issues
- Other producing wells - they will be natural depletion so they need to bring other wells on stream pronto
- dividend - are they going to pay it
- Oil price needs ticking up
- China US impacting world growth and hence oil price
- and finally debt - reduce the f**ker

That is “ALL” discoveries including Hammerhead and “ALL” will be developed

i think TLW have created a bit of a hole for themselves, they should forget the dividend until they sort the debt and the production issues.

Why would you buy ahead of Carapa results - buys weren’t massive though, some on here have more and a bundle of cash waiting. However, if it’s heavy oil again the share price isn’t going to multi bag from here in the short term, but if it’s light - medium then it’s a different story

It doesn’t take long to drill these wells in Guyana, they should be near or through the target zones. Oil is a dirty business

over the last few months all rallies in all shares have been sold into. US CHINA needs to be resolved to put world growth back in positive territory.
If Carapa (and that's a big if) is light oil, ECO and partners will select appropriate sites to target these sands and then watch the share price rise and PIs buy back in. Watching and waiting with massive funds, even if i have to pay 20-30% more.
