4billion profit on revenues of 80 billion is poor. Company should be aiming for return of sales of more than 10% as a minimum.
The figures shows that they have significant costs in the business. Plenty to work on for the board to find more efficiencies and savings

Looks like it will be the capital markets day for TLW where there should be a lot more visibility on forward drilling in Guyana.
However, Hammerhead appraisal results could be well ahead of that. Gill had said that there’s plenty of news coming in next few weeks and months.

"We look forward to drilling at least one well on Orinduik alongside our partners in 2019", there are mixed messages regarding the number of wells to be drilled in 2019, RNS says one thing and podcasts infer another.
This doesn't help in clarifying to the market exactly what is planned next year. I know it may be early to say exactly but the conflicting details are annoying.

lots of people waiting on the side lines. There is still a lot of risk aversion at the moment compared to several years ago with junior AIM oil and gas companies. I reckon once BKR is confirmed on the 1st November, people will pile in. I've got a significant holding here but will top up more if BKR confirmed on the 1st November even at a higher price.

Hopefully with the recent licence renewal by the yanks, I’m hoping we can start making preparations to drill Rhum3

Really surprised we haven’t seen any with all the big trades since the CPR and farm out to Total - where are they? It’s up to the individual holders I believe once they cross the certain thresholds - 3%, 4%, 5% etc.. Games being played or are the people and institutions not wanting to show their hands

Looks like this is being dragged down now that volumes have returning to "normal". Sold some at 49p but retaining a shed load.
Like I said Stavinmarvin, our market cap for what's been found in Guyana is ridiculous and does leave the company to an opportunistic bid or hostile takeover. No need for me to ramp this stock as anyone who's done any research see's it as a no brainer.

Watch the volume, CHAR always been a leaky share. I guess the speed of the spud and drilling by the Poseidon rig has caught many by surprise. It was super quick. Now where did all that oil migrate to?
