The last consolidation I was subjected to was also at 50:1 and it's now worth a third of what it was post consolidation!!

Not a fan of consolidation and don't see why we should have to? There are plenty of large successful corporations with billions of shares in issue!!

Agreed Loggy, it's been a painful 20 months or so at GGP (especially having personally seen over £600k in paper profits evaporate over that period! :-( )

Although I know we'll be worth far north of it eventually, so long as the previous ATH SP is surpassed upon any takeover / buyout of GGP at least I can no longer regret not having sold around Christmas 2019 (as many others also no doubt do too?).

We had a Chief Executive in Worthing for a while many years ago now nicknamed ''Goldilocks''.

Don't know what really went on but apparently she was put on 'sick leave' if my memory serves me correctly on full pay for TWO YEARS before finally receiving a million quid 'settlement'. (Many believed at the time that it was ''hush money' because she 'knew where all of the skeletons were buried' but who really knows?!)

Local paper were all over it at the time, but unsurprisingly I could find nothing on the internet?!?!)

I lived and worked in Sydney (Bank of America) back in 1995 and moved across to Perth early '96.

Was hard to get residency even then (despite my uncle offering to 'sponsor' me).

Everything happens for a reason though, as my mother passed away (aged only 59) 3 years after my return to the UK in '96 and where would my dad have been in later life if I hadn't been around to care for him?

Last visited Sydney in 2004, so maybe time to think about another trip?

Not tried the Crabshack yet (last time I was there it was just a normal Cafe) but we're located right at the back of Worthing next to the Downs (High Salvington) and we've got a rather good Micropub/Coffee Shop/General Store that recently opened only a 5 minute walk away so don't tend to stray much further than that these days. :-)

More than happy to meet up with anyone invested in SAR bailiff when the time finally comes to celebrate!!

(There is a really great community that meet regularly on another share I'm invested in (GGP) although yet to attend one of their meets due to in the past having to care for my late dad and spending much of last year sorting out the estate and Probate after his passing! This year though fully planning to do so hopefully).

Our local Council have 'form' for getting rid of Chief Executives 'mid term' but still paying them in full for the entire period plus severance! You couldn't make it up!!!

(Most of my remaining family members are in Perth in Australia and I'd happily emigrate, but unlike here they don't just let anyone in anymore!!! :-( )

Talking of wasting public money (my council tax bill this year was a smidge under £3K!!) what about the £178,000 spent on the ''pedestrianisation'' of Montague Place including £23,500 on those hideous squiggly lines, when they can't even repair the roads adequately (my brother has just had a £617 bill for damage to his car caused by a pothole!!)

(Just hoping SAR comes good soon otherwise will soon be having to look at selling the home that I grew up in and which we as a family have owned for the last 60 odd years, as it's becoming too much of a financial burden with the current cost of living crisis! :-( )
