Well if you've sold up Henry then what's it to you? Suck it up and move forward or your bitterness will consume you.
I see great potential in the company and am expecting at least 2 production agreements this year and also news of pursuing other infringers.
Our core IP has been robustly validated and we can retain the services of Nigel and the rest of his team.
Still owning our core IP is crucial here.
I'm with Giga here...BT's taken the cash knowing it will fund us into the commencement of imminent production. The SP at the point where we are generating £10m/yr and possibly collecting royalties from other infringers may well e equal to or in excess of the SP that MAY have been seen following a successful Texas win.Bearing in mind that even follwing a win in Texas we still would have had YEARS to actually have seen any of it paid to us.
I understand the decision to settle as long as BT nails a couple of contracts.
Give it a rest now Henry. You’re upset we get it but you really shouldn’t be attempting to discourage investors based on your own failings.
I’m optimistic that our settlement will be an enabler for our pipeline of prospective clients to enter into production agreements out of Runcorn.
This was strongly hinted at in the RNS as was going after other infringers of our IP.
As Giga mentioned earlier, this may well be the driving factor behind accepting what most of us perceive to be a low end settlement.
Secures our future. It is transformative considering we were on the verge of becoming an IP shell not so long back.
Bring on the sensors.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see further infringement litigation or a sudden flourish of license agreements.
Let’s be clear, we are not soft or deluded at THG. From the beginning of 2022, we steadily reduced the group’s headcount by c2,000 people via the roll-out of automation and close management of staff attrition.
"No big redundancy programmes needed, instead a tight focus on internal movements to replace leavers as we moved through the year.
"This gave the group time to adjust to a new operating model, fit for a high inflation environment, while being one of the few companies to deliver sales growth in 2022.
Sounds great to me.
bigblue…that’s an appalling last post.
