Just coming to the end of my 2 week TUI break in Dominican. Plane full, hotel full, no problems at airport in fact quicker than normal. Already booked my xmas holiday and lining up my 2023 breaks. Keeping my money her for now.
I caught covid last week, 4 weeks after my 2nd Jab. I had mild cold system, I tested positive for 3 day's then negative again. If I hadnt got the Covid test I would have carried on as if nothing was wrong. I am slightly overweight 50 year old. I may have been lucky. It may have been the Jab helped, but I certainly didn't feel like it was worth shutting the country for. In other news I was in close contact with 10 other people including a 4 hour car journey with my wife and son. No one I came into contact with tested positive. Read into that data what you want.....
Everything in life is selfish... even telling someone to stop being selfish is a selfish act..
We make freinds to serve our selfish needs...
We have children to give our life meaning despite the fact it consumes earths resources..
I would ask are the selfish acts of governments are less selfish than the people who lives those people who are impacted
We are all on a Journey towards Death, we need to enjoy the Journey. When does risk of catching COVID seem more attractive than not living... about 4 months ago for me . The government needs to get the world open again and provide the facts to people so that can make choices otherwise we might as well lock up and go and live in China or North Korea.
IMO.
I remember reading similar posts when I bought Barclays shares at 80p about 10 months ago. The world was dead, negative interest rates, government interference meant Banks couldnt make money any more. Better picks elsewhere, Only regret was I sold them at £1.40

Tomorrow's price.may be important for speculators, but investors will be looking at long term returns and prospects for future growth and if they believe in RR ability to invest wisely in new technological advances.
There is no.reason why RR couldnt become another Tesla, it has the right infrastructure, it now needs a board with a vision.
only warning

Surely the European public aren't going to let their governments off the hook for such a shoddy roll out of vaccines by believing fake news. I thought our government treated the public as idiots but this attempt to cover there own misjudments is like watching an episode of the apprentice.
I got carried away with the hype at £2.80 and even bought more at £2.50 on the way down to £1.50ish. I was quite green at the time and learnt alot from this share as I was in it for about 6 months.
I got lucky and traded up and down and made some fortunate deals to trim my losses to around 15%.
It's a shame to see it where it is now, I opened an account with them and the service is fantastic, but you get a better and less biased view on this share when you are completely out of it.
Investing in anything is a gamble, but outside the ftse 100 the risk and reward is even bigger. I am not telling you anything you dont know already but it's all about luck at this level, more than judgement and that goes for it going up or down.
If you are in it sit and hope, if you are out then I hope you do better elsewhere let's not pretend we are experts on Metro because even the people in the boardroom cannot be certain of where this is going next and if they did they would definitely be using smoke and mirrors to the city.
