Oh and smnickster...how did BHP 'shake up the Board" when they have consistently declined to take up their right to a seat at the table, as is their right and which would put them 'inside'.
Surely NCM shook the Board up more by withdrawing their Director.
And what about Cornerstone launching a direct attack on Solgold's lack of remotely adequate corporate governance.
You clearly have never sat on a PLC or major company Board, because thats what the 'Independent Directors' are there to protect against. Elide is a world leader in CG and ESG...
Is it not vastly more likely that Tigger, who has clearly supported Mather's remaining on the Board, has stirred the pot to stop the 'old Board' being booted back to where they came from.
At least the new CEO brings a vote for the future...
Just reflect...Mather promised the PFS in 2019...he trumpeted 'shock and awe' but he and Moller have a vote on the Nominations Committee that took 10 months to appoint a CEO while the company drifted...
BHP is NOT the problem until and unless they make a bid...if it's too low we shall end up in a Noront situation but this time I don't believe they will win...my favourite is Barrick at £1/2, depending on the state of the global markets as a whole...
Anyone with deep pockets now would be able to gobble Solgold and not bat an eyelid at that sort of a price with our rich portfolio of virgin assets...
