I try always to be constructive lunch, as others on here do. It pays dividends.

My contacts are never going to share anything improper, but it becomes possible to piece things together over time.

And anyhow I know from my own experience that CFO can be a lonely furrow to plough.

Plus she is based in Brisbane, managing the finances of a company operating in Ecuador, with its main listing (for the time being) in London.

My most senior CFO role was much less demanding, but 20 months solit between the North and London preparing a £800m plus IPO destroyed my marriage.

She, Darryl and Ingo, who have the roles demanding the most travel while operating in 3/4 time zones, deserve our sympathy and support...

And also need to understand what PIs are thinking.

After all, apart from the specifics of managing as an institutional investor, we are all pretty much the same in our thinking and have access to much of the same information...

You said it was cheap sub 500 and especially sub 400 and I strongly agree. The Mrs and I now have c£73k at sub 332p.

Two of the principal potential beneficiaries have not been there for years, I.e. 6 months and minus 6 days (or +3 days after the EGM) and...

They are being rushed through on 30 June so that 2021/22 is a qualifying year and just in case there is a Cascabel sale/JV pre AGM or at the latest 30 June 2023...

So I believe they are part of a golden 'welcome'/insurance package for DC/AH and a bonus for Ingos hard work...

I've emailed my contact. Let's see what drops...

When will these guys finally get their corporate governance act together?

Although we didn't spot it, it's clear that the major interested parties spotted a naked attempt at self reward. When you look at it its blindingly obvious.

Caught with their trousers down trying to work a flanker, having to own up to it 6 days before the EGM and having an embarrassing amendment to approve at the meeting.

In fact I'm surprised this didn't need 14 days notice.

If the overall motion had been voted down, because of this 'trick', they would either have had to hold another EGM, defer it to the AGM (so why the haste anyway...because the new FY starts the day after the EGM...) or have two disgruntled new employees.

The good news is that this points to either a proposed JV for Cascabel, or Porvenir, or even a possible IPO of Porvenir/Green Rock.

The bad news is either for the new Directors if a 30% stake sale in anything had been proposed (someone cleverer than me can advise whether one of the smaller projects would qualify) or for us giving up 51% of one of our prospects rather than maintaining control.

The LSE designation of trades is completely arbitrary...

The algorithm calculates the mean price between bid and offer when the trade is booked and allocated SELL if its below the mean and buy if its above.

Means absolutely nothing...dont worry about it.

It may have been a sell, or it may have been a late reported buy at a time when the SP was higher...
