Why do we have so many keyboard warriors on here?

Most of us are polite to each other and whilst they may differ in opinion they say so constructively...

But there is a growing cohort who hide behind their anonymity to be nasty, insulting, rude, defamatory, etc.

Get a life and learn to be polite. If you were in the pub somebody would smack you in the face if you sounded off like that.

To be blunt, its cowardly behaviour.

The RNS truly shocked me so we bailed 500k at c26.4p because whether there was a cash raise or not, I didn't want to be day after day watching the SP drift steadily lower...

But at the back of my mind is that one day there will be a bid and SOLG looks pretty weak and vulnerable...

I've learned that if you want to build a position you do it while people are selling and the price is falling...

So yes...a cash raise could take the SP to 20p or below but if they get it right that could put a bottom into the market at c20p...

People will try to be clever and get stock sub 20p but as the SP turns I think they''ll chase it...even more so if the T/O jungle drums start again...

So...I'm very happy to have built back at an average comfortably below 23p, making a substantial turn in the process...

And once again we sit at 800k with funds to call on if thees a raise...

Copper shortages impact from second half 2023 and with 400 million tonnes having gone missing last week and the Chinese thing to corner the market its only a matter of time before both SOLG and ATYM outperform...

Surely a 32% premium gives a price of 29p...?

If BHP can bid $8.3 billion then bidding for Solgold would be small change, even at a 200% premium...

Fort...what is your source for saying there was a royalty component in the failed funding, or top you make it pop as you're going along?

I think BHP and NCM are a major block and after last year's AGM they wield unreasonable power;

Also the carrying cost of the FN deal is horrific. We may not have to pay the 12% yet but it still has to be 'marked to market and added to losses; obviously if we wanted to walk away from it we'd have to find that cash as well;

Finally I think a streaming deal is best left until funding the project, so don't queer the pitch...

I repeat...for various reasons I believe a streaming deal would be impossible right now...

It should be held up to be part of the construction package as Ingo previously hinted...

The market doesn't need to worry about the $3 billion until next year.

Meanwhile bid talk swirls...

The price can't be allowed to continue to drift and the way to stop it is take away one of the uncertainties.

Trust me, I've done this before in the 1990/91 property crash in the UK...
