PIs aren't selling bjut a few are possibly wondering if they should invest a bit more...

But meanwhile I'm firmly bid for 300k again, while the dribble of 2/3,000 trades at 18.50 trickles on...

I expect we all want someone to just get on with it...the waiting has become torturre...

Maxit's bluster almost promises something is going on behind the scenes, otherwise he will pretty soon look like a fool rather than an M&A specialist...

SOLG still spends a few bob a year in the Solomon Islands, which is where they started...they're in the Ring of Fire...(see ADVFN)

I reckon the early markdown is because the $9.5m agreed bid for OZ precludes a SOLG takeover by BHP...

I think the problem is theres no liquidity in either SOLG or CGP on TSX Steve.

Theres been an arbitrage between the two since the merger RNS but with Forex risk as well I dont think anyone can be bothered...

Heck...CGP a smidge below a 6 month high...merger completed tomorrow?

Because I bailed into here...don't worry...made a profit and I'll put some of the SOLG money back in...

32 actually translates as 20.46p but of course the CGP guys are Canadian based...

And another 300,000 at 18.50...

Total after hours trades (except the UT) 829k and volume for the day 5.15m

Which makes 9 out of the las 11 days at 4.7m or above...

I wonder if Blackrock has there £25 million yet...?

You got 1 million plus in the UT Steve...and 445k has just gone through as well...fingers crossed

I don't regard that as trading...if I'm confident I will increase our holding as far as funds will allow...

But I would rather lighten my holdings if I am concerned that there may be a short term correction rather than sit watching the increasing red in my portfolio. Thats how three times now we've built portfolios at an average cost between18/19...

I'm wondering if a "Bowl is forming in the SOLG share price...

It seems to me we had one which took the SP from 42 down to 20 and back up to 40 from October 2020 to April 2022...

Has there been another one forming from that last high point down to 15 or so in October (leaving out the 12.95 bottom) and mving back up to 18/19 so far, with a chance of exceeding 40 in due course?

And yes I know that you are talking about a sale of Cascabel or more, but its really hard for people to remain patient while nothing is happening and I'm trying to save good people from baling out because they've lost patience when gthey may be on the verge of a life changing event.

I'm trying to encourage people.

There is somethiung going on in the market where there is this underlying solid demand day after day that is not showing up in a significant share price movement...I'm just waiting for the trigger.

And as to your inappropriate speculation, I am not a trader. I take a view on the SP all the time, which is why I have built our holdings all the way back up from 300,000 in the Spring to 2.3 million now.

None of those (in at an average cost of 18.5 overall) will be sold at less than twice the cost unless there is a market shock.

Even then I will take a view as to whether I sell any, because they are currently being held for a takeover battle.

But you would know that if you read my posts and wouldn't say something as petty as "so you can sell a few hundred thousand shares"...

So please tell me what you are doing to encourage those of us whop have been here for years that our day of reward may finally be at hand.
