Yeah sorry, wrong link - https://www.kefi-minerals.com/files/notices/kefi-notice-of-agm-and-proxy-7june21.pdf
Just usual guff looking at the proxy form. I assume they will call another meeting probably in July to actually approve the deal, assuming it's agreed by then.

Yeah dealer your post makes absolutely no sense, well done. Another EUA crackpot! Stop talking to yourself as well, it's fairly obvious what you're doing. Christ I wish this board was actually visited by KEFI shareholders!!! Oh & SB I trust you're a man of your word & will never post here again after 30 June when there has been no placing.
This cracker person may be a stone cold plonker but the company still felt compelled to address the warning on their Q&A today so that is a bit concerning. Have tried to read the report, not sure why 2013 is mentioned rather than 2021? The thing I want to know is where are the resolutions shareholders are supposed to be voting on at the AGM? I don't see the point in holding it if there is nothing to agree...We need another RNS within the next few days actually outlining what is going to be put to the vote.
I wasn't sure if this had been posted already but here's today's interview with Harry (only 9 mins & interviewer terrible but at least it ain't an hour).

Sorry was only joking Steve. I've just watched Harry's interview today and am very pleased that he said there will be no dilution in the near future & before funding so SmellyBen wrong & now hopefully will honour his pledge not to post on this board again. I must admit i've had my doubts over this share in the last couple of weeks (not sold any though) but I really feel now that this is going to be on track by July.
My question is why is the first bonus payable upon receipt of just $20 million? why not the full expected funding package? A cynical part of me thinks this is because the Ethiopian Govt. funding of $20 million was already received (although not really - supposedly spent on building the roads etc. that haven't yet been built). It makes me think that he will be in line for payment as soon as the resolution is passed at the AGM despite no actual fuding money being paid into Kefi's account. I hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't put it past Harry after all the recent bull*hit...
I also don't like the RNS where Harry gets $500,000 if $20 million of funding is received by 31st December 2021 - Haven't they been trumpeting for about 2 years that the first $20 million of funding has been received from the Ethiopian Govt? Suspicious that the 2 figures are the same...
This is the part that worries me:
'We draw your attention to note 2 of the financial statements which explains that the Parent Company and the Group's ability to continue as a going concern is dependent on the Company's ability to raise adequate financing from lenders, shareholders or other investors before the end of June 2021, in order to meet operational commitments and overheads. There are currently no unconditional or binding agreements in place and there is no guarantee that any course of funding will proceed.'
Firstly, why have binding agreements still not been signed & how likely are they to be signed by 30th June 2021? The rest is irrelevant if they go bust...
I don't know why I started looking in to this but as the rules for AIM listed companies are different i'm not sure if technically they have to even hold an AGM...been wading through a 50 page document on LSE explaining the specific AIM requirements & it doesn't seem to mention the need for an AGM (maybe missed it as boring as hell to read) the Company seems to just need to publish Financial Reports every 6 months. Well I don't know now - ignore my previous posts they are probably all wrong! Also don't go by people quoting the 2006 Companies Act (due to KEFI being listed on AIM).
I'm all for research and not name calling but it does annoy me when you have people stating supposed facts like AGM must be held by 30 June (Goatherd on other board) when it wasn't even in June last year! - so that's obviously an incorrect statement. All I know is if we don't hear by 9th June it's not going to be held this month, that's a fact.
Actually just checking further and the AGM must be held within 9 months of the company's financial year end so as that's 31 December for KEFI the very last date for the AGM this year is 30 September 2021 . The company must give 3 weeks notice of an AGM via RNS so the last date they can notify shareholders if it's to be in June is 09/06/2021. I'll stop boring you now!
I know dsrt2012 but he's stated plenty of dates that turned out not to be correct - remember the 'yes we'll definitely have started Tulu Kapi by beginning of May 2021' (from his 1st Feb 2021 webcast). I hope it is in June & that news come prior to it to say that everything has been tied up & just needs approval at AGM but the lack of any updates this month makes me think we could be looking at July...
Thanks Ben - just noticed I put 30th June 2020 so sorry if that confused anyone, meant 2021 of course! I'd say given the financial closing date slipping from October 2020 to March 2021 to June 2021, it's quite likely that the AGM could well slip a few weeks as well while things are being finalised (still). Hopefully the anticipated fund raise will also slip a bit!
I'm not a member of the ADVFN BB but for anyone over there who also reads this BB & is thinking the AGM must be held by 30 June 2020, please note: The 2020 AGM was held on 13th August 2020 so as the AGM has to be held within 12 months of the last one it can be held on any date up to 13th August 2021. Even then I think there's a 3 month extension allowed so could in theory be November 2021.
Oh come off it Ben! For a start it's Ethiopian banks that are putting up most of the 'hundreds of millions of dollars' & in term of investing in Ethiopia, it's a hell of a lot more stable than countries like Nigeria, DRC, etc. and plenty of large International companies invest there. I do agree that we should have been provided with at least one update in May but it's still possible this will come in the next few days prior to the expected AGM announcement.
