The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The ARCM share price has been pretty stable (give or take) for the last 5 years - If you are intent on shorting shares look to companies like Helium One Global (HE1) for better opportunities where the share price has gone from about 10p to 0.20 in around 6 months. Think of the money you could have made! I, of course hold shares in HE1...d'oh!
Takenorisk - you really are a pathetic individual. 55 posts (and counting) on ARCM in the past 30 days. I think you should take a trip out to Zambia yourself to where Anglo have been drilling, and maybe just jump in their big hole...
peggycilla911 - you add nothing to this chat, why don't you just **** off? also, just to advise - the 5 letter word 'where' has an h in it. i've lost count of the number of times you've written 'were' when you mean 'where'. maybe take an evening class in english for beginners instead of wasting so much time on here offering your stupid opinions. thanks.
Well at least i'm invested in ARC and not just on here wasting my time bitterly posting about a company I sold out of years ago like you. I've moved on from KEFI and you should move on from ARC. I'm sure I'm not alone in finding your posts incredibly tedious. You sound like Prince Harry with all your whining...
I hope genuine holders on here are planning to submit questions for Monday's Investor Webinar. FWIW here are the questions i've e-mailed over this morning. Hopefully at least a few will be answered:
1. When is the first tranche of money due to be received from Anglo American, and how much of the initial $3.5 million is actually going directly to ARC Minerals?
2. You announced that drilling has started in Zambia. Given that the rainy season is about to start, will drilling be suspended shortly until next May/June, or continue through the wet season?
3. Does ARC need to do a placing in order to raise funds before the end of 2023?
4. How much additional cash will ARC need in the next 12 months in order to continue drilling in Botswana and for potential acquisitions etc?
5. Are the Botswana assay results from 2022 due to be published shortly?
6. Will drilling recommence in Botswana this year, and is there a timeframe for this?
7. Are ARC intending to pay the PDMRs the outstanding money from the surrender of share options in 2021 by the end of March 2024? If so, how will this be funded?
8. What are ARC's short-term and medium-term plans while Zambia drilling is ongoing?
9. Does ARC still own the TMNA shares and if so, what is the current value of ARC's holding?
10. When are the first results likely from the current drilling in Zambia, before end of 2023?
Possibly not, but my guess is that they are waiting for the confirmation to be released publicly via the official website before issuing an RNS confirming the licence transfer into the JV name. We know that the transfer has definitely been signed off (4 days ago) via the Minister's reply to the question he was asked, and nothing has been announced yet by ARC. It fits in with the above being the reason for the delayed news release. If i'm wrong i'll eat my hat on Friday!
I'll leave all this 'inverted candle' etc. nonsense to others. We know that the latest MLC meeting must have been held on 7/8 September (based on Minister's own comments) and the results are published on the mmmd website normally 5 or 6 days later. So I believe we can expect news either tomorrow or Thursday this week.
Fukurokuju79 - As has been mentioned on here recently, over £3 million is owed to the Directors for the surrender of their share options in March 2021, payable within the next 6 months. The $3.5 million may be used to pay some of that initially but they will also need to fund further drilling in Botswana, pay wages/admin costs etc. and Nick has also said recently they are looking at further potential acquisitions. My view is that they will do a placing after the licence transfer is completed on the back of (hopefully) a reasonable increase of the share price. $3.5 million isn't going to last long on its own...
Takenorisk - there won't be a placing before the transfer/JV set up has been announced, and given that the paperwork has now been signed off by the Zambian Mining MInister, I would imagine it will be announced this week. I suspect there may be a placing prior to the commencement of drilling, but with the $3.5 million incoming from AAL and the inevitable share price rise on the announcement, I predict any dilution from a placing to be about 2-3% at most.
Peggy I've invested in ARC as I believe that when they sign the JV the shares will go up in value. When drilling starts the shares will rise further, when the assay results come in they will rise further still etc. Add in the potential in Botswana and I can see this 10x the current price by December easily.
If you don't agree and have no faith in the company or NVS, then that's you view but there's no reason to haunt the board just because you owned shares years ago and sold out for a loss and are bitter about it. You don't see me posting on KEFI and that company drove me mad for years!
There's a poster over on ADVFN called Bradshaw980 (probably previously China Blue) who joined in Nov 2022 and has posted over 900 times since then almost exclusively about ARCM. I suppose we should be grateful the trolls over here are not that sad at least! I still don't get the motive of these people. Crazy...
It does make me laugh that the likes of Travelcard, Noresco, Tony1947, Peggycilla only ever seem to post on the ARCM board and yet keep putting the company down and saying no-one will ever make a profit here etc. How sad are these individuals that they choose to waste their time in this way. Go and buy BP shares then and get a life. Pathetic.
This idiot NorEscO makes me laugh - only ever posted on here (at least in the last 2 years), claims to have sold out years ago, and yet continually comes back on here to pass comment on things. And he thinks we're the stupid ones! There must be better ways to pass your time mate...
