Don’t they expire anyway? I thought stop-losses were only used by day traders. If you are a long term holder it would be pointless.

So RNS lands and...no news of money and more 'it will come soon' type of talk with no firm date for transfer of money. I'm a bit disappointed...

I don't know why people are predicting whether there will be an RNS tomorrow - the answer on the Q&A page on Kefi's website states that there will be news at the 'first opportunity' which means Monday morning & where it states that if there had been a change of plan an RNS would have been issued earlier clearly means that funds have either already been received or will be received on Monday. Those are statements by the company, not predictions. Whether everything will run smoothly up to production, that's another matter...

That's been on there for at least 3 months and was before they diluted recently by issuing an extra 300 million shares. I'd say you can take that 12 month prediction with a large pinch of salt. My guess 3-4p in 12 months.

RNS will come tomorrow i’m certain. I think they’ve just been waiting until Timkat is over in Ethiopia (ends today).

What kind of sad sack posts over 700 comments in a 30 day period on the board of a share where he invests 1% of his portfolio and then sells the following day? They say 'time is money' so i'd say you were well down in that respect!

Yes i’ve read the news releases. I’ve also noted the use of the word ‘expected’ for the Jan 2020 start date. I’d be happier with a definite date. My point about ‘wild speculation’ was that this stuff about 4p by Xmas & 20p long-term is just spouting figures with nothing to back it up. I can’t personally see any major permanent rise until the mine build actually commences. I’m happy to hold & with the price i paid but the only prediction i’ll make is that Xmas will fall on 25 December.

All this Boom! & ‘should see 2p today’ stuff is incredibly tedious. The reality is at the time I write this the Sell price is exactly the same as it closed last night so no gains at all today. Can we stick to facts rather than guesswork? If anyone has news or links to relevant websites then great but wild speculation keep to yourself. Thank you!

Let's not get too carried away with the 30% rise as we're still below the price from just 2 weeks ago having seen a more than 30% drop since then. I'm still a bit concerned that there is no exact start date for the mine ground-breaking. An 'expected' start of January 2020 could easily slip once again. Personally, even with today's rise i'm not even in profit with this share yet but I will continue to hold, probably through to construction & beyond. I just hope that the cash generated from Tulu Kapi will fund the Saudi side and we don't see any further dilution.

OK for those people not willing to actually visit the company's website or do any kind of research, here is the simple answer:
KEFI bought some land in Ethiopia 6 years ago and have spent the time since then getting approval to build a gold mine, get partners to put up funding etc. They are potentially days away from finally starting to actually build the mine. When they finish building in 2 years they will start mining gold. Value of company will significantly increase in short term because of the future profits they will make. This value will be reflected in its higher share price because people will want to buy the shares to get on the gravy train once the go-ahead is announced. The recent bounce was due to the positive recent news but the real jump will happen when concrete news is announced.

If I see anything relevant to PDL not already posted, i'd put it on here. What you won't see from me are endless 'let's see if we can hit 7.4p in the next hour' type of stuff or 'just bought another 500k at 6.9p' ....This should be somewhere you can get breaking news on the share, news on the diamond market, anything that could help. I'm not saying I have any insight, hence why I 'follow' but I just hope that others may come across news/info useful to other holders so we can all make informed buy/sell decisions when the time is right. Thanks for positive comments.

I follow this thread as I am a holder of PDL shares, not a day trader or a bull or whatever & I hoped that I could get insights from other holders on Company news etc. Sadly it seems to be mostly populated by illiterate fantasists like Steve E60 boasting & talking rubbish about whispers & tips from insiders. Why do people give him the time of day? Can people just post stuff that might actually be useful to others related to PDL. Would appreciate it.

Why are so many excited by the share price hitting 8p? In January this year it was at 46p so it's still way off being a good price until it's back to that kind of level. So many daft people on here getting worked up over a tiny rise in the grand scheme of things. This share was £1.50 5 years so anyone that bought in then is still 95% down...
