Oh come off it Ben! For a start it's Ethiopian banks that are putting up most of the 'hundreds of millions of dollars' & in term of investing in Ethiopia, it's a hell of a lot more stable than countries like Nigeria, DRC, etc. and plenty of large International companies invest there. I do agree that we should have been provided with at least one update in May but it's still possible this will come in the next few days prior to the expected AGM announcement.

I know harry said the AGM would be on a date before the end of June but then he also stated that Financial close would be end of March 2021 so why are we all convinced it's actually going to take place in June...

So the 2020 AGM was in August last year and a company must have an AGM within 15 months of the last one, so expecting an RNS soon to say the company are 'focused' on an AGM convened for mid-November 2021....

Selling started - that'll be Smellyben trying to offlaod 11.5 million shares to the highest bidder...good luck!

I wouldn't say it was 'idle press chit chat' DShox - it was stated by a MInistry for Mines Government official at a press conference. I think that's why more than a few of us are a little worried...

Well that was a pointless RNS - word for word what was already on their Q&A and nothing to put fears to rest as in concrete developments, dates, naming of syndicate members etc. The share will tank today...

I had quiet optimism when the 'meeting for release of funds' was arranged for January 2020...Anyone blaming the 'war' for the delay - not a war a 'crisis' that was put down pretty quickly or the 'pandemic' - Harry said on numerous occasions it hadn't affected Kefi at all is just making excuses for inept management. This constant can kicking is outrageous!

Probably for when they consolidate the shares which wouldn't surprise me. Either way it was bull**** to imply that the dela was concluded which that RNS was alluding. I'm sick of the lies now, i've defended this company for 2 years but no more. I don't trust them any more and I see no reason why anyone else should.

So why exactly did they grant themselves the share options for succesful conclusion? Contemptible behaviour.

I've e-mailed the company to express my disappointment. In fact I said it was absolutely disgraceful & the Chairman should go now. No doubt it will go unread. This is going to plummet now and with good reason. That idiot over on ADVN quoting 40p within 15-18 months is no doubt trying to cobble a positive spin post as we speak. This hasn'r moved on one step since I invested in 2019 when it was 'all systems go'. Bull****...

Let's be realistic regarding Hawiah - mining licence application targeted for mid-2022. Tulu Kapi mining licence was granted in 2015. Tulu Kapi into full production in 2023 (hopefully!) so that's 8 years after the licence was issued. So basically Hawiah is probably up to a decade away from production. I'm not waiting 10 years for that one, the market agrees going by the muted response so far today...
