Can buy out with Cairn India Compo ;-} PMO are very lucky in O&G business, i.e. Zama, EON/Tolmount and others (best deal of last few years)... MO used to hold... Financially, have been well and truly rammed by convbonders and shorters... PMO did invite the devil in with first sale of convbonds many moons before re-fi, allowed the vampires a gap in the door to suck a good 30-50% of Market Cap, many even bought the convbonds at discount and still got freebie warrants and further incentives... Is sad, but is life... MO thinks PMO will be ok, something not totally right though, plus still 100m shares held be convbonders to play with... MO like PMO, is scary prospect unless a convbonder... CNE does not have such issues, fortunately Good luck MO

Quite a positive Catcher update today from PMO... Couple of extracts from outlook... - Catcher expected to reach 60 kbopd (gross) in April ahead of plan "As planned, production is being ramped up in phases with first oil from Varadero brought on in early January, to be followed by Burgman shortly. Production levels have had to be deliberately constrained during the ramp up phase while commissioning of the full gas processing modules and the water injection systems on the FPSO are carried out. Water injection was brought on in mid-February and the final gas compression commissioning is underway. Following this, full production from the Catcher Area of 60 kbopd (gross) is expected during April. The first two export cargos of over 500,000 barrels each were lifted on 23 January and 18 February and both were sold at a premium to Brent. " Best wishes MO

Catcher ramp-up looks to be going well... Shuttle Tanker #2 en-route, arrives tomorrow, not long for Burgman First-Oil, then gas-uplift to 60k per day (net 12k to CNE), looking at the PMO commissioning plan could be pretty soon. Also Kraken appearing to be going well, expecting tanker #10 within 4 days... Will indicate around 50k per day (12.5k to CNE, can't include to 4.5% semi-loaned) Good luck Hoping for a good update in March... MO

Hi easyp... Post operational update, SP was a little lacklustre, saying that, not much meat on the bone... Since then Premier Oil (PMO) have today confirmed first offload of Catcher (as per Chilt's heads-up), sold at premium to Brent, so good for CNE's 20% interest (over 100k barrels)... Now just waiting for ENQ's Kraken update (expecting top job) Good luck CNEers MO holding for mid-term...

Hey volcano and fellow CNEers Another good bit of news for TU next week, ENQ BBer Chilting has spotted that we are due a tanker offload tomorrow from FPSO BW Catcher !!! I believe this is the very first production offload... Every little helps... Good luck MO

Good price easyp... Am expecting a very good trading update... First quarter with reasonable Kraken revenues and so far outlook is very good for Kraken... Also expecting a little positive impact of Catcher's ramp-up and possible reserve upgrade. Think a good moment to have a bit of CNE... Good morning Ragnar... Matrix a little hung-over, totally self-inflicted, a bit early for hair of the dog !!!! Very good breakdown... Matrix does try to work in ZAR, as local costs are normally quite static, yet will fluctuate (sometimes wildly) with USD/ZAR movements when using USD. Production will benefit from Phoenix from now, so maybe add 1.3k for Q2, 2k for 3 and 4 (don't have Steelpoort's figures at hand), SLP's "pulling" strategies have improved recovery efficiencies... Will probably be back-end weighted, MF2 in production, 19k needs to be QTR target average... Will add when brain commences activity... Best wishes MO

"Benefiting from new and improved PGM concentrate off-take agreement concluded in December 2016, the benefits of which have only been realised in recent months due to a long processing pipeline;" Could have been a platinum off take arrangement around Dec 16 prices ??? Good day the_shareminator Same ratios, slightly different prices... I use Kitco BID price, i.e. Pt, which is $927 (13,311 ZAR) Best to allow for some margin of error... Hopefully Pt has a good run... The way the big boys are eating through their pre-mined stock, bodes well for a couple of years time... Probably start to feed through as higher prices, when the light-bulb comes on. Best wishes MO

Forgot to mention the other and most obvious benefit... Adding over 2k Oz per quarter = 23Oz per day = 156,000 ZAR per day profit extra ;-} Will improve when SLP improve efficiencies etc All approx and at bid/spot Divi FY18 ???? MO
