Hey Sankeys
Can't imagine is too long a job... Maybe one and a bit weeks, two tops ???
For 350m sidetrack, will need to join together about 35 sections of casing (approx 10m each section) lower down-hole and then pump concrete out of the bottom of the casing so it goes up around it... the let it cure and harden.
Then can drill out bottom and insert production tubing etc for perforation/pack liner etc, sounds like not open hole like A5... maybe another two weeks...
Is hard to guess...
Some casing pics here... https://www.rigzone.com/training/insight.asp?insight_id=333&c_id=
Have done basic calc for 3A Best cost based on current price of 10p and USD/GBP of 1.34
149253732 shares @ 10p would cost $20m USD, so is $4m discount to what directors' suggested at 12p...
MO is not disconcerted by Sale and Purchase Agreement, has some provisos...
This probably adds some value...
"Based on an assessment of the geology Caspian Sunrise's technical team believe some of the geological characteristics of the Dunga Contract Area are also present at 3A Best. Additionally they believe the area 2,500 meters and below the Dunga Contract area, which forms part of the 3A Best Contract Area, also indicates the likely presence of oil.
490 sq km of 3D seismic has been shot. 1,327 linear km of 2D has been digitised and reprocessed. C2 reserves, using the Soviet system of classification, of 3.67 million tonnes (approximately 26.8 mbbls) have been assigned to the 3A Best Contract Area."
Good luck CASPers
