MO is ENQer not ENQee If Poo was $45 or less, agreed, would need to give more barrels (50% more), but Poo is above $64, so would be minimum barrels given, is still a good deal for Mercuria (thinks it's them) as would be paying $10 more per barrel spot. Anyway, time will tell if AK is on target... MO found much comfort in looking at Captain field, is analogous with Kraken, has been good producer for 21 years, has had a couple of phases, but still, it gave MO comfort that ENQ are doing this properly. Is $85 million of oil, with ceiling of $64 dollar... Is $4.722m per month (over 18 months) = 73,785 barrels per month, divided by 30.5 days = 2419 barrels per day... Is maths MO

Fair enough Indy0105... MO was openly concerned for a few days with AK production waiting for #16, was then re-assured by ENQ is part of AK's commissioning, tuning and acceptance processes, MO chose to trust. #17 tanker is more in-line with 40k+ (if arrives per schedule, bonus if bigger offload) and think #18 might be even quicker, will see... Last tanker left approx 13:00 on 26th May, AK has had just over 11 days of potential production time, has also had FS Cygnus visit on a couple of occasions for possible work plans. Pays your monies, you makes your choice. Good luck MO

Hey Indy0105 Is really down to perception... "AK is a disaster"... Think should wait for next two/three tankers before making that sort of conclusion/judgement, is your opinion, is fine, MO's differs. If not comfortably in 40ks then will be a little concerned versus production forecast. Think 3k for forward sold is too high, is more around 2.3-2.4k per day ($85m @ $64), have repaid 6/7 months so only 11/12 months left. Like have already said, H2 should be good. Anyway, MO realises does not matter what say. Good luck MO

Maybe get AB to do a "song and dance" at the London Palladium, complete with straw hat and cane, lol, with flashing lights etc... Think prefer him concentrating on delivering a good H2... Just to add... the article you linked is dated 22nd May 2018... The following line is from ENQ's update two days later on 24th May... "The subsea infrastructure for DC4 is scheduled to be installed in the third quarter, with the drilling programme expected to commence in the fourth quarter, when the Transocean Leader drilling rig relocates from the Alma/Galia field. First production from DC4 is expected in early 2019." MO

Hey KO We all know ENQ are not planned to deliver ops update until August, is possible exception for Kraken farm-out news, or other exceptional news. Agree with current SP not reflecting a transformational 2018, MO can see it brewing, will monitor how it goes. Will observe Alma activity via OGA well database and ships via MT If to plan and price is right, cannot rule-out adding some more... Is also good to have other toys that can play with over summer if get bored, whilst your ENQ seeds sprout and bloom :-) Good luck all ENQers MO

If fair is fair, heavy oil is quite a bit costlier to extract versus lighter grades. Think how much injection, heat and pumps required is far from cheap, so MO not feeling guilty if commands fair price... Plus even go to hassle of sulphur reduction package as icing... Anyway, MO is very happy with ENQ, like to see #17 this week for optimum happiness, if is Amundsen (no messing) Spirit is fine with MO... :-). Cheers MO

Can already see in March's WTI API breakdown that heavy crude prices have increased over Feb, where lighter has declined... https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_dfp3_k_m.htm Is probably to blend with lighter shale oil. With Venezuela being one of main heavy oil exporter to US, is now impacting China, can see following quote from PMO post... "A drop in crude oil supply from Venezuela is forcing China's independent refiners to look for alternative source of heavy crude" Maybe AB is correct, might see Kraken crude at premium... Has some images of Kazakh Caspian basin geology, have drilled over 5000m for condensates. Have recently raised over $1.1bn in bonds to re-finance and develop, have drilled deeps and shallows... Forecast to produce 37k in 2018. They started in 1997, think CASP doing a good job so far, making full use of cash flow building to fund growth versus debt. Wishing them well for 801 flowing !!! MO
