Good evening Chilts...

Stride has 121,797m3 98% capacity and deadweight of 105,369 Metric Tonnes...

14 API is considerably heavier than standard Brent crude, so can be limited by weight rather than volume...

Example, standard Brent 38 API is 7.53 barrels per metric tonne, whereas Kraken crude is 14 API, only get 6.47 barrels per tonne, i.e. almost 15% heavier

So even though Stride can hold over 700k by volume, can only hold 681k barrels of Kraken crude by weight...

Navion Hispania still drinking, so may wait until tomorrow to give range of possible offload amount...

Is new ship to AK, so might be slower... Will wait for STS in Scapa Flow before estimating offload via draughts...

If you do a "past-track" on NH and zoom in, can see a few points where stopped almost still for a hour etc...

Was not watching so may have had a ship or two, cannot comment.

Maybe two offloads, partial one to Scapa and other to ???

Certainly did not do a 400nm round-trip for fun or exercise !!! Maybe as suggested, AS is there as back-up, just-in-case ??? Still strange ;-}

Is very strange, F1 open water pit stop lasted approx 4 hours before NH began racing back, AS has been hitting the gas all night.

Is strange and with no real-time AIS will be fun watching, not !!! Can only see how pans out...

Have only seen NH do one offload in Norwegian North Sea since coming across from Canada...

Wonder if not certified in UK or HSE issue, can understand ENQ being a little paranoid and/or stringent... Maybe never know !!!

MO's jury is out on 3ab deal, is realistic oil is there, especially sub-salt deeps (I know... CASP need to flow what already have, but will do that, maybe already are...) so $24m could prove very reasonable...

Have been having a look at Dunga and 3aBest field on licence database...

Finally understand when mention have access to areas below Dunga, i.e. Dunga's deep prospects...

Can see Dunga field is in the middle of the 3ab plot...

AK can hold 600k max for offload, also can hold some crude for self fuel

Based on recent 500k'ish offloads... think will be between 450-500k as of now, so does have room for a couple of days minimum, burns 1-2k barrels per day for fuel (is guess based on 25year life at 10m barrels) + 5MMscfd of assoc gas.

So needs to have shuttle there tomorrow evening as will be getting full by then, possibly can go until sunrise on 26th.

Is motoring Chilts... but from where currently is, to Aberdeen and back to AK is approx 370nm @ 15.1kts can do in 1 day...

This does not include slowing to dock in port/leaving or work time to fix.

Saying that, have seen stranger things...

Was hoping for a nice and simple one today... Must have got to almost link-up position before calling-off, is such a tease !!!

Maybe problem with hose connector/pulleys on NH, can only guess.... Is problem with JIT methodology (just-in-time) when something does not work, maybe lack of testing...

Feel confident offload was intended for today (if not was good blag)

Continue to observe.... think may resort to rose' today ;-}
