First time posters starting with a negative thread title will always get met with some derision and scepticism on any share board.

The thing is if you really don’t know what the downside is to this or any investment you should shouldn’t be invested in the first place. You will certainly lose more than you win.

So downside is P3 shows no efficacy and SP will be below a pound. Highly unlikely IMO.

Upside, well the sky is the limit.

Agree Florida. Not material info. They told us they were putting £33 millions odd quid towards manufacturing doesn't really matter who they use to do this. Having said that a manufacturing update would be good for shareholders but mainly around where we stand with current production numbers and planned increases.

Bryosa, I would say no. EUA will happen when the drug proves efficacy. SNG has two big playing manufacturing partners both connected to Warp Speed. I posted this yesterday...

Tommy, I thought the previous trials were intra muscular injections rather than IV but could be wrong as have not really looked at them.

Sentiment and FOMO will play a big part in where the SP gets to in the next couple of months, particularly if we get the news around the Activ-2 trial in the coming weeks. There will be many people out there who won’t want to miss another July 20th rise, and with the low number of shares in issue it really won’t take much for this to move higher.

Saxondale, Agree totally. Results don't even need to get anywhere the P2 readout but I really hope they do!

BG not trying to hijack your thread from last night, but after a great week here is some food for thought when you are considering target prices etc. Please don't base your target price on some random round number but dig a bit deeper into what will happen upon successful P3.

Successful P3 de-risks this share totally. I think everyone now understands covid is not going away in 2021 as more and more scientists proclaim the virus as an endemic feature of our world, so that fear must be removed. Revenue based on the current information to hand will be in the billions by the end of 2021 and the number of billions is only limited by current production levels...... but then there is this. What value can be put on broad based antiviral proven to work against COVID during the peak of this pandemic?

There were some huge M&A transactions in 2019 with $340 billion spent on M&A. 2020 deals were much reduced but I think we all know why that is, however the projection for 2020 and beyond is as follows "we may see more examples of purely clinical-stage companies achieving acquisition prices exceeding $10bn. These are certainly rare occurrences – Pharmasset ($11.0bn) and Kite ($11.9bn) being the two cases – but may become increasingly common."

IMO the institutions will not sell out upon successful P3 and a share price of £10 (MCAP £2 billion). At that point the company is completely de-risked and the II's will be in for maximising total value of their investment through M&A. In fact many institutions at that point will want IN and the share price will get to much higher levels than most anticipate very quickly as they accumulate any stock they can get hold of........ and it will be mainly PI's getting out because they will be basing their target price not on research but on the return they have made or a nice round £ figure! For us PI's it will most likely be a matter of holding your nerve if maximum gains are to be obtained here.

Uggy, You are not going to get this info. The trials blinded in any case so know one knows if they got drug or placebo. I think the only info we will get regarding phase 3 is when other countries come online. You will not be able to find anything out about patient progress or the drugs effectiveness. Just have to believe in your research and the SNG team.

Tatty, Woodford’s shares all ended up in Acacia’s hands and they sold them all off in July. Was ****ing many here off no end including myself, although in hindsight it was the best thing possible as the 35p shares that many of us were able to buy were about to explode.

Acacia then became the laughing stock in the press for selling out and missing on the P2 gains of manic Monday. They had 14% of the company before they sold out!!

It’s pretty similar to what is happening now really. Everyone still has the opportunity to get in below the placing price. Crazy the current share price when you consider how much closer Synairgen is to the big prize.

Agree CR. It's been a great week for the company. Starting a phase 3 trial is what they have been striving to do for a very long time. Massive achievement by the team. However, this board has bipolar tendencies that reflect the SP. I am sure the doom and gloomers will be here for the weekend.

I am going to check out and drink a bottle of nice West Aussie Cab Sav to celebrate!
