Big, MM's are being a bunch of ****s. Very unfairly valued at present. I think the problem we have is no institutions, apart from Polar, willing to take a punt at present.

It appears to me that the EU is ****ed that AZN are delaying their doses despite EU providing 2.8 billion in funding to AZN to develop the vaccine. What better way to put some pressure on AZN bosses. Leak out the fact that efficacy is only 8% for over 65's. It was obvious to anyone who looked into the AZN vaccine trial data that was released to the public that there was plenty of manipulation of the data to try and "average up" the efficacy in the light that Pfizer and Moderna efficacies great than 90%.

Will be interesting to see the scramble today by AZN and the UK gov.

What a great day for this company. Finally a government has stepped up and put some serious financial backing into getting this drug approved and saving lives asap. Home use just makes so much sense and will be crucial to getting us out of this mess. I believe that once scale is built into the manufacturing process the price of the drug will come down substantially making home use of Synterferon one of the key drivers for returning our lives to some semblance of normalcy.

It is bewildering that the market has missed this at present but time is ticking away before it finally wakes up and the SP rerates. This will most likely to come once the ACTIV-2 news hits the mainstream media which will likely be in the next day or so.

Whilst there is still the need to generate the P2/P3 data there is so much evidence now that differences in the genome that regulates interferon is correlated to severe covid illness. It gives confidence that the results in all 3 of the companies trials will be enough to get this approved for use for covid treatment both at home and within hospital environment.

Why would they bother? They don't need further funding from the market. They have operation warp speed for that.

That’s true Graham. There is so much evidence now that variation in genome relating to the interferon pathway lead to severe disease in covid patients that there is a very good chance the trials will be successful. The latest work around this can be seen here. There is a very good schematic at about 6 mins in that explains this well.

Lets see if Han**** brings this up today..... not a chance. It does go to show though that the UK government have not got behind this company at all and they should be called out about this. Unfortunately the UK's media are so thick they probably don't even know what the ACTIV 2 trial is!

A really important trial funded by the US...... No dilution etc!!! 220 patients from over 90 sites in the Activ 2 trial should be filled very quickly. Positive results should see a potential EUA by March!

Mac, The 12th Jan date in the RNS refers to the hospital trial not Activ 2.

So P3 patients discharged from hospital continue to take the drug at home if they haven’t finished the full course. I expect this is important to ensuring that the long covid endpoints can be investigated. Not sure those comments relate to activ-2 though.

There are two primary endpoints. P3 gets two shots at goal.

COPD data is interim. Trial has not finished. Think I will wait until trial completion and full data readout before making any judgements.

I encourage everyone here to do their own research rather than listen to people pushing an agenda. Go back and watch Sir Stephen holgate’s interviews. There are plenty. That man is one of the best respiratory scientists in the world and people should be basing their investment decisions of what he has to say over anyone on this board.

Vallance could easily have talked about us with respect to antivirals. He didn’t and never has. This government, apart from Han**** once on 20th July has not once mentioned the work of Synairgen. They are not interested. You can see this clearly from the focus on the FDA in the placement RNS. Where this company will make its name is in the United States. All our partners are US companies. It’s a disgrace really but that is the reality of the situation.

The UK has clearly pursued the vaccine path over everything else, and whilst they are experts at policy U-turns, it ain’t coming for SNG001 as buy the time it does the US will have bought up the lot!

I do agree there will be a big churn of shares at 175 and this has been happening for the past few weeks. There will be plenty who participated in the placing who would have doubled down at 80p and will now offload the 175p shares. Some will hang onto both lots. We get an ACTIV 2 rns and those shares will get bought up quick.

"and soon everyone will be vaccinated." Firstly this is not happening anytime soon despite what the politicians tell you. There are many reasons why and this board has been over them a thousand times.

Secondly, If someone gets vaccinated and they catch covid and develop issues with their breathing requiring oxygen then there is no reason why SNG001 would not work. The drug is designed to kick start your interferon immune response. When people who get vaccinated for influenza and go onto develop serious respiratory issues the fact that they have been vaccinated does not influence the treatments that used to try and improve their situation. It will be the same with SNG001.

Without a doubt CW. RM already indicated in November that this is the plan.

Mac, Well I do hope you are right but the MHRA don't seem to be unto sped at present regarding this. Personally I think the US will be first to approve as the Active 2 trial will generate data quickly. The data their is unblinded for interim analysis.

"Unblinded data will be provided to the Data and Safety Monitoring Board for interim analyses. Unblinded Day 28 data will also be provided to a small group of people from the company who owns the investigational agent, to assist the company in deciding if the agent should move into phase 3 evaluation"
