It really does seem the market is missing something here. The EISA was a big milestone and I feel much more comfortable now in this investment with that out of the way and will be trying to increase my holding further before the ML comes.

I personally think the bottom is in with the GGP SP. I believe the general meeting will be a formality. GGP have been back to the major shareholders since the AGM and explained why they may need to issue shares in the future and they now know they can get the resolution passed.

GGP might hover around these levels for the remainder of the month but the Newcrest Qrtlies on 28th April and then the next interim exploration results 6 weeks later are where I can see the SP getting some momentum again and starting to push back up to mid to high 20's.

“ The IFNAR2 protein serves as the target for a drug family known as type-I interferons, one of which is interferon beta. That drug is approved for treating patients with a degenerative form of multiple sclerosis, a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system and disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the body. The researchers showed that people with a certain variant of IFNAR2 had less chance of being hospitalized due to COVID-19, compared to people without the variant.”

“ Currently, Casas is early into planning a clinical trial to test the efficiency and safety of interferon beta in COVID-19 outpatients in VA. If his genetic findings are confirmed by a trial, he says the goal would be to prescribe the drug after people are diagnosed with COVID-19 but before their conditions require hospitalization.”

This is a talk from early March before any data from HT could be unblinded (mid March) so any speculation around RM knowing the results is unfounded. I also recall last year he was surprised with the success of the hospital data and expected that treatment earlier would provide a better signal than when patients were hospitalised.

The home trial was very selective in its patient type. Only those most vulnerable to covid and subsequent disease progression were selected for the trial. The trial has low numbers, which everyone invested already knows and hence has less statistical power. However any signal, even if not statistically significant, that SNG001 is of benefit in keeping this vulnerable group out of hospital by treating at home is as RM states 'priceless'.

We found significant increases in inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, IL-1beta, and TNF) and type II interferons whereas type I interferons were inhibited. Examination of extrapulmonary tissue indicated inflammation in the kidney, liver, and heart which also lacked type I interferon upregulation.”

“Overall, it appears that severe disease resulting from SARS-CoV-2 infection may result from an initially impaired innate immune response followed by an excessive inflammatory response. The findings reported by Pairo-Castineira and colleagues may provide some useful insights into treatment. If interferon treatment is to be effective, it can be hypothesized that it must be administered very early in infection.”

"Because Long covid damage is spread through the body and organs. It should help with lung damage of course - and that's one of the major causes - but it's not going to help any of the other issues. All of this will need to be discovered through long term future trials and for us now it's not going to be a factor in getting EUA."

The reason it spreads to other organs is becuase viral replication is out of control. IF SNG001 stops and/or reduces viral replication, which is an important endpoint in Activ-2, then the damage to other organs will not occur which should then improve long covid symptoms.

Also just because SNG001 is delivered to the lungs doesn't not mean the interferon response generated by this is not initiated elsewhere.

Hants, agree with most of what you said but the volume today was only that high because of the printing of that 6.3m trade and also another of 700k shares. You take those two out and around a few million shares traded which is where it’s been most days of March.

Paper published yesterday selves into this deeper at cellular level. TGF is known to be immunosuppressant.

A lot of work had been done at Red Chris before Newcrest bought in. IN 2010 the had 2.1m ounce MRE and by the time Newcrest bought in that was a 20 m ounce resource.

Jed, Every country has their own equivalent of the MHRA. Some agencies are faster than others. By dealing with regulators in individual countries at this stage it means that when results are complete it opens up a fast way of getting full approval for SNG001 as the trial protocol has already gone through the a rigorous examination by the regulators and if the results are good there should be no delays in approving the drug for use.
