Dendritic cells are the main INF 1 producing cells, both alpha and beta so yes it is possible/likely that the results found for alpha in this study may also be seen in INF beta.

Personally I would prefer they focussed on getting P3 over the line as soon as possible, ensuring all manufacturing plans are in place and ready to roll, as well as ensuring that all the paperwork required by regulators in multiple countries is in place to ensure EUA as soon as possible after positive results.

If you understand the mechanisms of this drug you will understand that in vitro work with SNG001 will produce the same result (ie good at viral clearance) as it has against every other virus that they have done in vitro work on. The changes in the viral genome between alpha/beta etc are very small mainly around how the virus enters the cell. It is a pointless exercise, although would probably grab a few headlines and prop up the SP but from a regulatory point of view it is meaningless. Testing the drug against patients that are hospitalised having being infected with delta variant is the data that is needed and this testing is happening now.

Agree Divs. IMO no point even looking at SP here until next RNS drops. Many of the previous fears investors may have had about covid being over, vaccinations ruling out the need for treatments etc have been snuffed out. The science is clear as day just need RM to unleash the data.

It’s now hold until results or top up (again) if SP drifts to silly levels.
