Looking at the volumes around where it fell off the cliff there is not much happening. But...it looks like it triggered more than a few stop loss sells and doubled the average days trading volume....so a nice day for the mm's maybe. Just a thought.

I agree gsdog, the yield is the main attraction here. If things should go bottom up I'm confident I've a big enough gain to get out without loosing anything on my original costs......But that comment is only an indication of a cautious nature not an expectation! I feel l was very fortunate to stumble across this about 4 years ago, my holding here now adds close on 50% to my pensions. Maybe there is a god!

Negativity.....or maybe just telling it like it is, probably it's the best policy. More worryingly the sports margin is down 15%. I'm anticipating this plateauing for a while, the brokers are not forecasting much up side, but l will definitely stay for the yield.

Thanks for that gsdog. Did some calculations over the weekend and came up with much the same. Also noticed a report from Betfair last week that said that sports results had not been so punter friendly as in their previous reporting period. Although l have posted in the past that l feel a bit over invested in this l added about 10% last week at 475, so fingers crossed.

"You have to buy 'em on the way down so you can sell 'em on the way up. This might suggest that if the board shows only sells and the price is firm the mm's want to keep buying....to sell 'em, on what they are expecting to be, the way up. Let's hope so anyway. GVC always makes me optimistic yet is one of the best kept secretes on AIM. Looking forward to Xmas and then Jan 8th! Lee Clayton to me seems a poor choice for the job. I have only seen photos of him but my view is that a CEO should have the experience to realise that a pony tail and a plaid shirt is not the best image for a CEO. The rest of the BOD who appointed him must be naive to have thought it is. Possibly no other candidates?

One gaming company that seems to be holding up well is GVC, good yield too.

I believe this might have something to do with different market makers offering different prices and the highest and lowest being shown as the spread. l have never dealt this share (or indeed almost any share) at the extremes but l am open to correction.
