I think the zubs see Aminex as a way of reducing risk and raising money. That doesn't mean its in their interest to feck us into the ground. The fact they could have now and didn't says a lot to me. We'll be treated as the ***** so to speak but they'll want aminex to succeed in order to be able to raise funds. 25% of ruvuma full carried isn't bad for a company of aminex size. Disappointing if you expected them to be able to hold onto moreas I did. I see a profitable future for aminex even if the big money is siphoned off by the zubswhen it comes to ffd which at the end of the day, they weren't up to.

Yes, i wasn't talking about our abilities to move forwards outside ntorya. There's also the statements of looking at opportunities outside of nyuni and kilwani for 'robust share holder returns'. Where the feck that's coming from is a mystery at the moment.

Absolutely crusty. But my point about having enough to cover wages till income, most likely now, and certainly with the 5m cash for farmout still stands.

I should add that whilst there is no income, they have plenty of cash now and with the 5m from the farmout until there is income. I don't want to be accused of negative deramping :)

Fantom, its not about the share price, its about the income the business has which currently is roughly zero.

The egm will just remove some of the uncertainty and the drift that exists now. APT can get the ball rolling from there, get the forward plan announced ie spud/seismic, license granted (if the gov plan to before ch1), strategy for aex moving forwards. It wont all come at once. Basically we are in limbo until then. That's why you're posting 4 times as much now. You know the situation.

I think you have full agreement from everyone on this board. The thing is we know there will be changes to the bod when the deal goes through, so all that can be done is writing to carmaco and bringing it up at the egm. Until we see what the changes are we don't know what the shape of the board will be and ranting about it here wont do any good. I totally understand your frustration though, especially as you have already written to them about it. I imagine they have quite a few enquiries from shareholders recently.

Drewky, I'm totally with you in terms of the upside there is to be had here, the problem is the wait till the EGM. I cant see any news coming before then. People will be sitting on the sidelines in the knowledge that it's August which is quiet anyway and the EGM is September. The MMs will gradually move the price down during that time to try and encourage buys. Any serious investors will be waiting for the dust to settle. No matter what prospects the company has, this is the market doing its thing. It will come back up in the end once the show is voted through and progress is made and that should be within a fairly short space of time.

Apache, must have been almost 12 years ago now you bought your supposed holding. What made you buy tben? No infrastructure was in place so it was stranded asset. Share price was what? Said you'd sell at 5.6p after it had just gone to 7.5p and then it did go to 5.6p yet you didn't sell. Said all the way it was going to go down yet held your shares all the way. What a prat if your story is true. I seem to remember you saying you were a 'guru'. Really? Keep up the good work.

Crusty, yes, APT will see a huge upside compared to aminex and I said before it would be great to be able to buy shares there. Still plenty of room for aminex to grow from here and you have to accept that they were just too small to deal with ntorya. They certainly should have dealt with it better and communicated/realised earlier, maybe there were reasons for that which are suspect, but we are where we are. Looking forwards, there's still plenty of upside here. Not the blue sky we all hoped for but that's a refection of the size and influence a company like aex had. It's now time to decide if you think there's money to be made for aminex regardless of how much APT stand to make in comparison. Unfortunately what they make is now irrelevant.

Mismanagement? I wonder if that depends what the goal was when they started this journey ;) Time will tell as you say, but the zubs still have an interest in making aminex enough of a success to explore and appraise nyuni.

Tarry, I doubt there is anything that could be announced until the vote is passed. There's been a lot of cloaks and daggers over the last year or so but the cards have been shown and I actually think there'll be more transparency than we've been awarded with lately. They need to crack on and announce the egm and once voted through, tell shareholders their strategy for aminex moving forward and how they'll align the bod accordingly. Things have changed considerably and the future vision is now needed, but until the vote is done, nothing can be announced. Its all well and good talking about future profits but the key is how will they be used to invest for growth. I remain convinced that the zubs took a slice of Aminex to use it to reduce risk in early exploration of the licenses, but for that to work they'll still need aminex to succeed and the share price to be higher than today in order for it to be able to raise the funds required for nyuni. It's in their interest to see aminex succeed to a level.

And to answer my own question we are here to dilute risk imo. Still money to be made even on that basis.

They could have wrapped things up now if they wanted rx. Why feck about.
